America's been teetering on the edge of a precipice before, as early as 1783 when George Washington turned back a brewing officers' revolt, which would have led to our country's being stillborn.

We need to get a proper perspective and realize that we can prevail.

So very true. George Washington was an amazing man...I’ve read many a biography on him. Oh how I wish we had a George Washington today.
