Maybe for the Jefferson memorial - seem to remember a lot of old cherry trees in poor health around that one. Some trees near the Viet Nam memorial and Korean, as well. But WWII, Lincoln and Washington would be OK, I would think.

I’d check with the museums before I went, but I’d expect most to be open. I don’t see anything to the contrary on the Smithonian web page.

And per the OPM website: “Federal agencies in the Washington, DC, area are OPEN and employees have the OPTION for UNSCHEDULED LEAVE OR UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK.”

And it looks like the only delays on the Metro rail are for scheduled track work.
