A liberal wrote this piece. Here's insight into the slimy inner workings which plays out daily, but is almost always hidden from public view.
Just look at how Mr. Obama handled the health care law. Recently released e-mail exchanges between the White House and the pharmaceutical lobby, which detail a path of compromises that won the drug industrys support for the Affordable Care Act, certainly look more like business as usual than change. The e-mails include a White House promise of a direct line of communication to lobbyists, along with a suggestion to stay quiet about an agreement that buried a proposal for cheap drug imports.

All I see the the usual leftist rhetoric that demonizes private wealth until it is expropriated to fund an ever expanding state.

How Liberals Win
At the national level, liberals win through the lack of courage and the lack of commitment to principle by the Beltway GOP. The closest things we have to champions of conservatism in Washington are people who act like the unpopular kids in high school, pathetically eager to throw away what they know to be correct in order to gain favor with the cool kids - which in Washington are the gaggle of statists in elected posts and the members of the MSM who do their PR.
Words can't express the disgust I feel over Roberts' willingness to torture logic and the Constitution to keep the liberal establishment from calling him and the Supreme Court a few nasty names.
It's overwhelmingly clear that a new way, a new party is needed. The GOP is a failure. Something new has to arise from the energy and passion of the Tea Party. Failing that, I'm prepared to vote Libertarian - maybe those guys will stick by their stated principles for limited government once they get into office.

Obama is “conciliatory”? He has NEVER spoken politely about his opponents. He constantly insults and lies about his enemies, and his enemies list is enormous.
Sure, he makes deals with “capitalists.” These are his friends and donors, crooked crony capitalists and money launderers.

When all you care about is ultimate power, you’ll do anything to get it. Once you have it, you can do as you please.
