In a few months, Americans will cast their ballots and make a choice. Do we continue on a path of rising, out of control health care costs? Do we continue with massive tax increases to fund a new two trillion dollar program? Do we continue stifling our economy with a growing government that discourages hiring? Or do we chart a new course and change directions. The Supreme Court may have made their decision, but the American people haven't. Day one. Job one. Repeal Obamacare

I know there are lots of Romney haters on this board. I'm not one of them. Paul Ryan said it best: November is our last best chance of getting rid of this law.

And Romney said it better: the only way to get rid of Obamacare is to get rid of Obama. Let's fire him in November. And take the Senate.

The BEST chance to get rid of the stupid law is NOT
elect the AUTHOR of the stupid law.

[seen here with Sen Kennedy (who was to the right of Romney).

I gave for the first time yesterday after the abhorrent Kangaroo Third World Court made it clear that they use The Constitution for TP. Before yesterday I was going to vote in order to get rid of Obummer. Now I’m in with money too.

Speaking of Paul Ryan, he is my congressman. I hope he is the VP nominee. He is brilliant. They could charge PPV prices to see him debate Plugs Biden.

Here in WI, we have a very good chance of gaining a US Senate seat in November. Herb Kohl has finally retired. They are putting up uber liberal congresscritter Tammy Baldwin. We have several excellent repub candidates for our primary. We can win that seat.

The slogan only goes so far. I voted for McCain, holding my nose. So did my family. The slogan glosses over the idea of running a good candidate. Someone who hasn’t already done this garbage, for instance, albeit on a smaller (state) scale. In my case, I cannot vote for him because he has stood for abortion, same sex unions, et al. As a Catholic, voting for him constitutes a grave sin, because of what he himself has stood for. I cannot stop you from voting for Willard, but my wife and I will not be voting for him anymore than obama (which is to say NEVER). It’s not a matter of preference, but a matter of faith. And that’s aside from my not having faith in this potential candidate. I do not hate him. I cannot support him. There’s a difference.

Also, given that he has done this himself, and that he’d walk into the job with it already in place, I truly believe he would play at repeal briefly, and, theatrically, give up. This garbage law won’t be repealed because those in power want more power, and this certainly gives them their heart’s desire. No offense to you, but no.

A quick and decisive movement must result from yesterday to "enlighten the People," as the Founders intended purpose for education was meant to do. Millions already understand that the freedom and light of liberty their ancestors left for the entire world are being destroyed, and yesterday provides both impetus and an opportunity for rectifying that wrong.

From a Bicentennial of the Constitution volume comes the following excerpt:

"It was John Adams who said: "The foundation of every government is some principle or passion in the minds of the people." Clearly, the Founders' passion was liberty, and in order to secure that liberty, they sought out and incorporated into the United States Constitution those ideas and principles embodied in the Declaration of Independence.

"The French historian, Guizot, once asked James Russell Lowell, "How long will the American republic endure?" Lowell replied: "As long as the IDEAS of the men who founded it continue dominant."

"Herein lies the answer to the question, "Will the Experiment Succeed?"

"It can and will succeed IF the motivating "principle or passion in the minds of the people" is LIBERTY, and if that passion causes them to exert the determination and will to complete the needed restoration of the IDEAS upon which the great American experiment was based." - (End of excerpt)

Romney and the Republican had better get on board quickly with providing voters a sharp and distinct set of IDEAS of LIBERTY, and how those ideas contrast with Obama and the Dem's COUNTERFEIT ideas of SLAVERY TO GOVERNMENT AND LOSS OF INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM.

The "jobs" argument is the one the Dems want, because it keeps attention off the underlying cause of job loss, which is loss of individual freedom under a cadre of power-hungry political hacks.

The "freedom to choose" which is important is that choice between LIBERTY and SLAVERY! Make it a theme, and "the People" will will respond. It's kinda' like "build it and they will come": lay out the choice boldly, and "the People" wil respond. One leads to light and "pursuit of happiness" and the other leads to darkness and submission to coercive government power.

As a Catholic, voting for him constitutes a grave sin, because of what he himself has stood for.

That is completely false.

While your decision not to vote for Romney may be a personal matter of conscience, the Church's position is that a Catholic can in good conscience vote for the candidate whose position is closer to the Church's that his opponents.

If two candidates agree with the legality of abortion and one candidate wants taxpayers to fund it while the other does not, then it is permissible to vote for the latter.

Check with your clergy about whether the Roman Catholic church deems a vote that is aimed at mitigating evil to be sinful.

I went through the 5 stages of grief upon realizing that the American dream was dead, never to be revived at the ballot box again...over 15 years ago. From my admittedly minority perspective, there is very little difference between Romney and Obama. I’m sure your guy will win but he’ll do it without my help. I’m too old to pretend anymore. Keep you powder dry.

Do you think Romney has a chance to carry WI? I mean, I know he has a “chance” but do you think WI might be in play this year to become a “Red” State in the Presidential Election? If Paul Ryan was the VP nominee, would he carry WI for Romney? Michigan is Romney’s home State. Be great if we could carry those two Midwestern States. Then we could afford to lose Ohio and still win the White House.

What say ye?

I dont really care much for Romney as a candidate. I didnt support him in the last election where I had to hold my nose for the stench of McCain and throw a write in for Keyes. That was my Catholic vote. This next one, we have a real chance. God forbid a few hundred people in a battleground state stay home and just dont want to vote for romney becasue they think he stinks.....well guess what....Obama is the embodiment of communism. Think about that. Who cares if it is Romney. Maybe there will be some happenings at the convention but I doubt it. The matter of the day is Obama MUST be defeated. We only have so many options. Here in Michigan, we have some issues with the Ron Paul people in this state saying they are voting for ron paul only and no romney. Look, I understand your disdain but there are times you have to swallow your pride. This is like running out of radiator fluid and having to stand on your bumper and piss into the hot radiator to get across the finish line. Not something you want to do but it is necessary. I pray Obama is slaughtered on election day and sent back to Kenya. I pray even more we elect a conservative senate to keep Romney honest. I dont trust any f’ing politicians today.

Progressives never get rid of big government programs. Even if they repeal Obamacare, Mittens will replace it with some other government health control authority.

GOPe does not despise socialism. They just want to do it a tad differently than their friends across the aisle.

We should make Mittens a deal. If he gains the power in the Congress to overturn Obamacare but fails to free Americans from Federal health care, he’ll submit himself for execution. That is the only way to stiffle that etch o sketch in him.

Well, it's time for Romney to start telling it like it is after the Supreme Court decision on Socialized Medicine.

The plan is Socialized Medicine.

There will be no medical insurance, the government will pay for it through taxation.

There will be no private clinics, all will be nationalized, government run.

Nurses, medical personell, doctors, will be civil servants.

Hospitals will be nationalized.

Pharmacies will be nationalized.

Medical schools will be under federal edict.

Bureaucrats will dictate all medical policy.

Not all at once, but in a short time after 2014.

Right now, most of this is hidden as "at the discrretion of the secretary". But HHS has been given carte blanche to nationalize the entire health industry.

Manufacturing, distribution, revenue, everything.

This message needs to be spread.

SOCIALIZED MEDICINE

After the miracle of our 2010 elections in WI, getting Gov.Walker and taking control of the legislature too, I think it is very possible that should Ryan be VP, Mitt would win WI.

One sour note: We do have rampant voter fraud since one liberal traitor judge in Madison is holding our Voter ID Law hostage. Today we heard that (surprise, surprise) this so called judge is not likely to free our law in time for the November elections.

Before our presidential primary in May, Congressman Paul Ryan toured the state with Mitt. Our wonderful new Senator Ron Johnson also endorsed Mitt. Johnson and Ryan are grassroots TEA Party type guys. I trust their judgement.

Ryan and Mitt made a very appealing team. What would be great is to get Ryan in that VP office and later he would run for president. I am certain he would become my second favorite president, after President Reagan.

Short answer, Wisconsin is absolultey in play. That is why the DNC sent so many resources here after Gov.Walker got the state unions under control. They gave it their dirty evil all, and our governor still is here. We’ve grown some great conservatives here. Walker, Ryan and Johnson. Best votes I ever cast!

We also will likely win a US Senate seat, now held by liberal Herb Kohl. We have great candidates running in a primary to see who will run against Kohl.
