Yes, Obama and the Democrats are entitled to a bit of a victory lap today, after Chief Justice Roberts searched deeply within his political self and found a path to uphold ObamaCare.
Today's ruling will probably go down in history as the most effective GOP voter turnout operation ever. There is only one way to repeal ObamaCare and that is through the ballot box. It will happen.
Obama campaigned on a promise to never raise taxes on any families earning less than $250,000 a year. Today, the Court called the mandate for what it is...a tax. In doing so, it acknowledged that, not only did Obama break his campaign promise, but he and his leftist allies have ushered in the largest tax hike in history. They will go with that record into the voting booth in November.
From a nakedly partisan viewpoint, today's ruling is the best case scenario for the GOP. ObamaCare is still deeply unpopular and now the only way to undo it is to sweep Obama and dozens of Democrats out of office.
Roberts may have pulled off the ultimate Jedi Knight mind trick. He upheld the law by framing it as a tax, which runs counter to Obama's campaign promises. He has ensured that the only way to appeal the law is to prevail, across the board, in November. That was ultimately always the case.
Patriots around the country will now realize that there is no cavalry on the horizon. If we want to preserve our liberties, we will have to fight for it. Patriots and Independents now have a singular reason to show up at the polls in November. This focus will doom Obama's reelection campaign.

Short of extermination or displacement of a whole populace, no country ever quite ‘goes away’. The Russian Federation and its clients are a very different animal that the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact. They did get rid of much of their dead wood and dead end economy, and so must we at some point.
We even have a recommendation to that effect:

Anybody who thinks Obama’s reelection is doomed is being naive.
In fact, that very thought suppresses turnout in the very voting group you want at the polls.

Do you really think the republicans are going to challenge the status quo? Of the whole crowd of R’s in the senate right now, you can probably name 5 true conservatives. (DeMint, Paul, Inohfe, and maybe a few others). The rest are dim lite’s.

No, Roberts made a tax, not Obama. Roberts handed ‘12 to Obama on a silver platter. Obama’s in the clear and can stand proudly by his promise that he wasn’t going to make it a tax. He got what he wanted and it’s clear sailing to November.

Wow. Talk about going into full spin mode. What the hell’s the difference between that crap and progressives claiming what a huge victory it would have been for obama if the SC struck down obamacare. Or what a huge win for obama it would be if Holder was held in contempt of Congress? Spin, spin, spin.
The people in this photo and their sign makers are not independents and were always going to vote for ObaMao. If they bother to vote at all. There is always the possibility that they now believe they don’t need to do it again. Think about it.

The social contract has been torn asunder.
The fact is, that the SCOTUS has just ruled that it is permissible to force a US citizen to buy a product or service, or face a fine. This will eventually result in Government-decreed cars, Government-decreed food, and even Government-decreed books. This flies in the face of everything that it is to be a free American.
Party control waxes. Party control wanes. But SCOTUS rulings take decades to reverse, on the rare occasions they are reversed at all. All it takes is one bad election, and the government can now decree we must own certain products and services.
There is no silver lining here.
