Or more correctly...let me hasten to say GOD has not turned his back on US...WE have turned our back on HIM!
I agree with you. I sure makes sense.
I had an arthroscopic about 12 years ago, they didn’t let me watch that either but dr showed me photos after. Meh
bring it on...I got blood on my post !
In late, but I do need to get Mark’s take. Just heard “Circular “incoherent” - So far, that’s what I had picked up from the few reports I have seen.
Not if you don't sober up. I have some experience too. But eventually the piper will demand to be paid.
Glenfiddich 18 Single Malt 18yr and Glenlivet Single Malt 18yr *were* always my favorites.

Damm right He’s pissed.
We’re getting what we deserve is an understatement. And I blame Bush.

You’re a better man than I, Charlie Brown. I wouldn’t have lasted even that long. I want full anesthesia when I get *near* a hospital, even though I’m just visiting someone. LOL.
Mark just hit the nail on the head...Kennedy for goodness sakes voted to DUMP this bill. Roberts decision was “Mickey Mouse”.
Mark is correct.
Rot in hell Roberts. Our founders will be happy to push you there.
I may be risking prison...but I will be goddamned (figuratively AND literally) if I will pay one damned penny for someone to have an abortion! I refused to care for patients that were having “selective abortions” int he 70s...I am not about to start condoning that crap now! SCREW Obammy and his idiot dictates!
I liked it and Johnny Walker Black, too. I had the same furniture as you; got cut-up too, years ago. Fell off a 15ft ladder once and wrenched my back. Soon as I lost 85lbs tho, the L5 pain went away. Go figger.
That article mentions that Kennedy’s opinion refers to a DIFFERENT writing as the “dissent”, so Kennedy wrote this opinion believing it was the majority opinion. That’s why he used the word “we”, which is characteristic of majority opinions. It’s also why it addressed the government’s arguments rather than the flaws in the majority opinion.
That would also explain why Kennedy was visibly angry - if Roberts changed his vote at the last minute.
And it would explain why the argument is uncharacteristically thin, as if there wasn’t much time to come up with anything except regurgitating what the government lawyers said.
It would explain why Roberts was red-eyed and unhappy when reading the decision. It would also explain why the reading of the decisions was out of order according to the seniority of the majority opinion’s author (at least I don’t think Kagan or Sotomayor wrote the majority opinion for Stolen Valor).
We know that Scalia changed his dissenting opinion on Arizona sometime between last Friday and Monday when the decision was given, because he referenced Obama’s amnesty-by-fiat in that dissent. WE also know Scalia was fired-up mad about that decision, in which Roberts voted the wrong way even though 3/4ths of the AZ law was going to be thrown out anyway because of Kennedy’s vote. I’m wondering if Scalia was mad because Roberts changed his vote on both cases over the weekend, and the Obamacare decision had to wait until today then because the opinions had to be reworked.
Or maybe Roberts made a deal with Kennedy - the AZ vote in return for Kennedy’s vote on Obamacare - and then Roberts got the marching orders from Soros and switched his vote.
I’m surprised there was not a scathing dissent like Scalia gave for the AZ decision. Makes me wonder if Roberts changed his mind VERY LATE in the game so that there wasn’t time. Kennedy didn’t even have time to change the references in his now-dissenting opinion, to reflect that it was not the majority opinion any longer. And Obama only decided to show his ugly face this morning - right?
Sounds to me like something big happened to shake everything up this week, and I’m thinking it might have been some communication from George Soros. Marching orders: Obama isn’t going to worry about an election that can be called off, so political fallout doesn’t matter. To keep the economy falling we’ve got to keep people fearful of the future so Roberts is ordered to uphold Obamacare.
YES.
I hope he can live with that once reality dawns on him.

I’m glad Babbah wasn’t here to see this.
