Hey BuckeyeTexan. Can a Supreme Court Justice, particularly a Chief Justice, be impeached?
Yes. Justice Samuel Chase was impeached in 1805. If a Supreme Court justice was impeached right now, particularly Chief Justice Roberts, and the Senate voted to remove him, a vacancy would occur and Obama would name his successor.
