FU GEORGE W BUSH!
FU OBAMA!
FU ROBERTS!
The court’s four liberal justices, Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor, joined Roberts in the outcome.
BETRAYED BY ROBERTS!
To preserve our Founding principles we must resist and repeal legislatively.
The Tea Party will go crazy over this.
Libs thought they were gone, just wait.
Obama will lose in a landslide now.
I guess it is time to campaign on the slogan:
Vote Republican! Repeal the Healthcare Tax!
So . . . .
if the mandate is upheld as a tax,
and
if Congress can impose taxes,
does that mean that a simple vote repealing the tax would kill Obamacare?
I cannot even put into words how disgusted I am. Just sickening. Thanks a lot Roberts, you really screwed us all.
Anybody who does not vote against Obama is now officially an enemy of the United States.
Elections have consequences....especially when the commie rats win and control all 3 branches of government.
Folks, we’re screwed...but you knew that already.
I just donated to the Romney campaign, the tea party, and the NRA. I’ll never sit on the sidelines again. Are any of you now motivated to do the same?
The fix was in from the start!
This is what a RINO dominated RNC has gotten us. Bad judges, bad government. I expect to see a rise of the Tea folks with even the so-called Reagan democrats calling this slide to socialism for what it is...
It appears SCOTUS upheld individual mandate in Obamacare as a tax; ergo, Obama just lost his re-election. d
FUBO!
FU Boehner
FU Cantor
Eff every last one of you in the Senate and the Congress.
IF the Congress and the states in the lawsuit do move immediately to destroy this monstrosity I will quit being used as part of the proletariat class come January and will completely lose interest in politics.
My money and my voice have had zero effect on anything except raising the level of noise and only two year olds continue acting like babies.
I loathe and literally hate my government.
There is no reason to hang the flag of the Red, White and Blue.
It’s Gadsen from now on.
So, we are now slaves to the whims of the federal government.
It's a shame, but all too predictable. We have become apathetic and comfortable, no longer willing to fight or sacrifice for our beliefs or country.
Most here will whine and wail over this outcome, but that's all that will come of it...words.
Next, most will vow to “vote them out”, which is laughable considering our electorate and “choices”, particularly this November.
Welcome to 21st century slavery.
Look long-term, I would rather our side be fired up then the other side for the up coming elections. I thing the SC just cost the libs the White House, the Senate and Congress. We are now motivated!
It looks like the “Great American Experiment” is over with.
to all those that stayed home because McCain was too liberal, eff you.. To those bitching, just remember that when you don’t vote for the most conservative candidate that can win, the results might be what you think.
Elections have consequences people.
I wonder if the democrats will be spiking the football?
They ruled that the individual mandate requiring us all to buy insurance is unconstitutional...and that should be the end of it. BAck to Congress to change, fix it, or shelve the whole thing.
But, no. They then (it sounds like) unilaterally and unconstitutionally took it upon themselves to basically re-write the legislation and call that mandate a tax and then say “now it is ok, proceed.”
How can the US SUPREME COURT WRITE ANY LEGISLATION?
Answer: They can’t. It would be unconstitutional.
The Congress writes laws. So with what the legislation clearly called a mandate to buy ruled unconstititonal, it should go back to congress to alter it into a tax...WHICH WOULD NEVERY PASS THE CONGRESS RIGHT NOW.
I am shocked and severely disappointed in Roberts. They are (if this interpretation is correct) writing legislation from the bench which is not within their power to do.
I guess we’ll see what it all means, but that’s how I am reading it now and it is very disappointing if that is correct.
