This last census, the Hispanic population was pegged at about 13%. Look at the power they yield right now. Look at how little power we yield in comparison.

From what I hear from multiple sources is that the problem is with the POTUS electoral map. Hispanics are reported to be turning solid red states into toss up states and that's why Republicans get so scared every 4 years.

Short term it depends on voter turnout. 2010 was much different than 2008 and 2012 will be different too.
