Here’s a question for you and all -— Are Pedophiles classified as subsets of homosexuals? or are they a separate category on their own?

Outside of legal tangles over being of age when it’s close (e.g. 18 year old boy, 16 year old girl) there certainly are dirty old men who just like girls. Homos hog the spotlight today.

The alleged pedophile homosexual distinction is a red herring. By definition a person engaging in erotic activities with a member of the same sex is a homosexual irrespective of the age of the victim. A person engaging in erotic relations with a female is heterosexual irrespective of the age of the female partner.

The pedophile concept is largely a legal construct rightly designed to protect children. It can be shown that in Medieval England the age of consent was twelve. The law evolved over the centuries. I think the age of consent should be 21.
