Stupid on more than one level. This wasn’t an “altercation.”
Nordstroms IS big on trying extremely hard to please the customer. OK, fine for them. But I’d draw the line at shoplifting.
Years ago I bought a blouse on clearance there. It frayed at a button hole after the first washing, so I returned it. They sent it to a seamstress who repaired it and called me to pick it up when it was ready. If I liked a certain robe or other item, they'd take note of it and call me when it went on sale or clearance. We moved far from any Nordstrom store, but I recollect Nordstrom customer service as exemplary.
As soon as theres an incident lock them in and call in the police. Manditory 1 years sentence for misbehaving.
