The jury in the Jerry Sandusky child molestation case has reached a verdict. The media has received a twenty-minute verdict notification, which means that the result will be announced in twenty minutes.
Jerry Sandusky is a former Assistant Coach for Penn State The high-profile began last year when almost a dozen people came out, revealing that Sandusky has molested them, which then resulted in the firing of Penn State Head Coach Joe Paterno.
Sandusky faces 48 counts against him and up to 400 years in prison. Most legal analysts have predicted that he will be found guilty on most, if not all, charges.
Several minutes before the verdict was reached, the jury asked for clarification on testimony that a janitor gave. The janitor stated that he heard that a fellow employee had witnessed Sandusky had raped a child. This, however, is hearsay because he did not witness it himself. The jury was certain how to apply this to their deliberation.
Guilty on 45 of 48 counts. He faces a minimum of 60 years in prison.
He also has a bad habit of using double subjects, as in "Senator Marco Rubio, he'll be on my show tonight." It makes him sound less intelligent than he is.
At least one of them was a conspiracy count. Conspiracy is one of the hardest things to prove.
Didn't matter. The victims were honkies, therefore no crime was committed. At lest, that's apparently how the jury saw it.
OJ was probably high on drugs when he murdered those two people.
He shouldn't be.
You may get your wish. Because both the Penn State football team coaching staff and school administration swept Sandusky's perversion "under the rug," these people now face Federal charges of not reporting a felony on a college campus (a violation of the Clery Act) and contributing to the delinquency of a minor across state lines (a violation of the Mann Act). As such, we may be talking most of the Penn State coaching staff and school administrators of the last 25 years facing at least a year in a Federal prison. I would not be surprised that Greg Schiano--a former Penn State coaching staff member and now head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers--could end up being asked to step down if Federal charges are filed.
Thanks
It was only released for a moment?
You’re welcome.
Remember when Arafat died? I mean the final time he died.
“Now they need to go after the flaming a-holes who let this go on and swept it under the rug for so long.”
That includes his wife.
Amen, and may this trial bring courage and a sense of justice to other survivors.
Another homo boy molestor outed and guilty. If only, Barney frank had received same.
