WV is turning into a black hole and the only industry left are meth cookers run by the Detroit gangs. We’ve had 53 arson house fires in Huntington since November and they had to close the Days Inn because of a toxic meth lab in one of the rooms. They arrested the guy and his girlfriend and two weeks later, busted them again cooking meth in the trunk of a car! Everyone is down sizing. Pizza Hut have closed three restaurants here and reopened a single tiny carry-out kitchen in a strip mall. Times are tuff.

Amongst us there is all sorts of music. If anyone can’t find something they like, they don’t like music. LOL!
I love that picture.
It’s pushing midnight here and sunset was at 11:42p...I’m hoping some of the “passing showers” find us tonight.

I just checked Wiki and it says Palmer left Authur Brown to become a founding member of Atomic Rooster and jumped from there to ELP. I never even heard of AR until the 80s but I saw TCWoAB with Carl in 1968. That guy was as nutty as Screaming Lord Sutch (who employed Jeff Beck before he was a Yardbird).

Sunset at 11:42 pm eh? That's right, you're in the land of midnight Sun where you also can see the Aurora Borealis. Lovely! That tree was a picture I found then tweaked a bit because it reminded me of night time plus I've been in the mood for purple for some reason. :P
Music is something I wake up singing or humming and go to sleep at night doing the same. Today the tune I was humming as I woke up was Rule, Britannia and I have no explanation for that other than it's a great tune LOL! I have always loved music and don't know why one tune catches my ear and another doesn't.

Classy class, Drumbo! It was very interesting. Thank you!
Cream contributed many fine tunes to the world of music
in a relatively short period of time.

Thanks for the kind words bd. I enjoyed this jukebox myself because after the Beatles, Cream (along with Jimi) were the most formative band of my teenage years and my roots grew strong in blues throughout my music career. Blues aren't something you learn, they are something you live and in the living comes the sharing. None of these men were the all-time best, but the combination was a magical moment in time.
I've always respected Clapton though he barely makes my top ten. I spoke of his integrety and was reminded of a story Paul Shaffer told in his book,
We'll Be Here For The Rest Of Our Lives. He was rehearsing the band for the televised Rock'n'roll Hall of Fame one year and Eric Clapton and B.B. King were jamming. Paul was trying to sketch out the performance and he suggested Eric sing a verse and then B.B. and then Eric solo for 16 bars and then B.B. .... and Clapton interupted him and coldly said, "Paul, it's the
blues - let it happen." Frustrated, Paul tried to explain that they had a strict 3 minute time-slot, they had to hit the commercial breaks, they needed to rehearse so everyone would be on the same page and everyone got a chance to perform. Again, Clapton just looked at him, shook his head and said something like, "Paul, I understand, but it's the
blues. You can't force the
blues." That's stuck with me, because as a bandleader, I've always said, "Spontaneity on stage is great, as long as it's well reheased." But Eric's right. You can't force the blues and you sure can't fool the blues.
