David Dewhurst, tabbed as the "Establishment" candidate has endorsements from Rick Perry, Mike Huckabee, Michale Reagan, and OTHERS
I don't care what anyone here says... I don't want Dewhurst. I will vote against him.
I'm sick and tired of the establishment.

Nothing in the debate will change my vote.
And I will vote in the run-off.
Ted Cruz's campaign has been pretty much dependent on the grassroots as can be seen by the following chart:
The Numbers Dont Lie: Cruz has Overwhelmingly More Texas Support than Dewhurst
Cruz has 26,688 donations under $100, while Dewhurst has only 11.
Let me know if Dewhurst starts answering questions in Spanish.
I say, I like the cut of Dewhurst’s jib!
/Mitt Romney
Go Ted Go!
I’m wondering whether a certain notorious Dewhurst pom pom girl is going to show up on this thread tonight. I want to ask her what she thinks about that chart in post 4.
If we're thinking of then same one, then she made the reply on a facebook post, "Why give money to a millionaire?"
Is it a coincidence that they support Romeny also? I think not.
The TEA Party favorite Ted Cruz will win.
For those of us that have to watch it on the internet, here it is.

Damn. Cruz is very direct. I really like this guy.

Ted Cruz will be a great Senator, but first he has to win this primary.
The Sanctuary Bill did not pass in the last regular session. The Texas Senate did pass it during the special session, but it died in an House Committee during the special session, so it is not law.
Not a particularly friendly panel so far, and the audience is sober. A bunch of liberals is my first impression. Cruz is magnificent in that atmosphere and Dewhurst has a bad voice and unhappy countenance.
Dewhurst is a dumbass.
Dewhurst wouldn’t agree to debate before a real live audience.
Everyone here is complaining about property tax. Our taxes had skyrocketed the last few years. We used to pay 2 weeks of pay toward taxes, today it’s 2.5 MONTHS of pay that goes toward property taxes. It’s ridiculous!!!!
Because of high taxes, not the jobs economy, literally - no lie, half the homes on my block are up for sale.
