Exactly. I have tracked the total cost of regulatory compliance, taxes, permits, etc. seperately for many years in my business. The total 'government added' expense to my business last year was 38.9% of my revenues. I haven't paid myself in almost two years. Each day I find myself contemplating closure more and more.
