Sarah Palin says that Obama did not respect the balance of power in the federal government when he issued his executive order last week on immigration, that he is now just telling Americans what he deems best by fiat. It was so blatant that she also suggested that we go back and talk to some of his former students because its clear Obama doesnt understand our constitutional process.
She was also asked about criticism that she didnt mention Romney in her speech at Right Online. But her reason was simple, that it would have violated the ground rules based on AFPs legal status as a non-profit. But she makes very clear where she stands and said that if the vote were had today, she wouldnt blink in voting for Romney over Obama and maintains shes always held the position of anybody but Obama.

This used to be a forum of considerable sway.
That said, I do realize we don’t live in a bubble.
My husband never liked him (but he would have voted for him). I was dumbfounded by our candidates. Really? This is who we are offering. Other than Perry, I couldnt imagine the country rallying around one of them.
Newt? sorry but republican women care about adultery when it comes to who they will vote for as president. We can call the republican masses stupid all we want but it won’t change that they wouldn’t want to vote for him.
I would have voted for hin even though I remember him leaving office in disgrace, and he’s a serial adulterer. And he made that commercial with Pelosi...He was still better than Obama, just like Romney is...at least they don’t hate America. IMO
ROTFL! (Love your tagline as well)
I don’t see it that way. The tea party kept fighting in special elections after that, and in the Wisconsin recalls too. So, the warriors are still out there, just not rallying in the streets. The primaries surely caused divisions, but I think that’s just a speed bump. Once this election is over, hopefully we can get our act together and focus on the big picture again.
I often think it's just a game of Good Cop/Bad Cop and all the Politicos retire to chambers, smoke cigars , sip cognac and slap each other on the back as they laugh, that they put one over on us.
Gnight Gang
OK. I agree.
It is what it is.
I stand very firm on my tag line.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST repeal Obamacare in total. Nobody knows what is in that bloated abomination.
I know for an absolute fact that a GOP majority Senate and House cannot make Obama repeal his own legacy victory. Obama will NEVER NEVER NEVER repeal his own sacred socialized medicine law.
So that only leaves me the slim hope that Romney can be dragged, shamed, bullied, blackmailed or bought into repealing Obamacare. I don’t care which. Blackmail is just fine, so long as they get Romney to sign the outright repeal.
So while I know Romney is a socialist-light abortion-loving liberal who is no friend of ours, I also know that another Obama term will make it IMPOSSIBLE to repeal Obamacare. After 4 years of implementation, it will be impossible to pull the trough away from those swilling from it.
The best favor Obama did for us was to hold off implementation until after the election. We will hold the House and we should take the Senate. We will have to body slam the GOP-e to demand the full repeal of Obamacare, but I think they will respond to our full onslaught.
Romney is a tougher sell, but once we bring on the Senate and House, we can get to Romney.
We can NEVER get to Obama.
Another Obama term means the Obamacare repeal fails.
Failure to repeal Obamacare means our Republic is lost.
I am stunned that the people who refuse to vote for Romney can’t see this. I’m stunned that they would even risk Obama’s re-election victory in this light.
The people voted in the primary. I don’t agree with their choice but Romney won the nom. The people have spoken, even though some of us don’t agree with that choice.
“it had MITT’S fingerprints”
The man just about hired every anti-Palinite on McCain’s staff as soon as the 2008 election was over. He’s as calculating a politician as they come; he knew the biggest threat to his plan, and he set to work on her before her plane touched down back in Alaska.
Well said.
I fought on but the rallys waned after the 2010 congressional elections an it pissed me off.
OK, I appreciate your high road position. You’ve sold me on that.
Bump to the top.
Heh. I don’t want her to STFU, I just wish she and others wouldn’t slam some of us and pretend like they aren’t.
That passive-aggressive crap is so annoying.
If you can show a causal line from Mitt to the leftist Democrat attacks through the ethics loophole on Sarah Palin in Alaska, well give it your darndest. I have seen no documentation, only innuendo. If you think Mitt is a person of innuendo, certainly you then ought to know better than to indulge in that yourself.
Sarah was of sufficiently good character that Mitt mud would just drop off without leaving a mark. Mitt is not who Sarah feared. It was Democrats who hit a new low. They didn’t just hit below the belt, they struck at the soles of her feet.
The speepbump gave us Romney because we couldn’t stay focused.
Kingmaking matters. The primaries brought a herd of cats with no momentum.
>The fix was in a long, long time ago. The GOP-e hand picked Romney as they hand picked McCain.<
Hand picked. Hmm.
Remember the deal about McCain being born in Panama?
Now we’ve got the Romneycare guy as GOP nominee.
Sounds like another setup.
They’re all in on it.
