Something about that Old Guard and that establishment. Theres a schedule to keep and a list of rules to follow. Apparently, Sarah Palin shredded her copy and its starting to rub the media the wrong way.
Despite saying dozens of times over the last year that she would eventually back the GOP nominee in her #1 mission to replace Barack Obama, apparently the media expects more.
An article written by The Hill yesterday notices: Palin Doesnt Mention Romney In Address To Conservative Bloggers.
The Daily Caller reiterates: Sarah Palin Hasnt Formally Endorsed Romney Yet while they also concede that she has made it concretely clear that shes opposed to President Barack Obamas re-election.
Then, this morning the snark kicked in at the Daily Caller again:
Sarah Palin has become increasingly irrelevant, but her endorsement still remains sought after by GOP candidates. And Mitt Romney has yet to become a recipient of her beneficence, reports TheDCs Alex Pappas.
Sounds to me like some are starting to get a little grumpy. First, it is absurd to suggest someone is increasingly irrelevant (especially with a blog owned by an increasingly irrelevant pundit known solely for his abundant collection of bow ties) when youre beginning the top of the page of your precious blog space to mention it.
If that in and of itself isnt enough to disprove their claim of increasing irrelevance, we have Palins endorsing of Richard Mourdock for Senate in Indiana labeled by the Washington Post at the time as the highest-profile endorsement yet for the primary challenger and it pits Palin against her old running-mate, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who just cut a radio ad for Lugar.

I agree with some of the other posters. Palin has been thoroughly trashed in the most personal terms since she came to national attention, and a fair number of her more vicious attackers have been Repubs.
And the Repubs who trash her always turned out to be Romniacs.
Tea Party folk have seen the same thing. They expect to be attacked by Dems. But they were also attacked regularly by Repubs, and the Repubs who attacked the Tea Party folk almost always turned out to be Romniacs.
Then there is the fact that Romney himself has at various times supported almost every one of Obama’s policies.
So, he has made it pretty tough to support him. But Palin has evidently decided, if she can’t support Romney, she can at least help to unseat Obama. So she is doing her part. For the Romniacs to expect her endorsement after the way they treated her is a bit much. Still, she is one of their best allies as she goes after Obama. They don’t deserve her, but its not about them anyway.
The daughter you reference, Bristol Palin, is an adult, is she not? And how is she an “idiot” or “looking foolish” or do you just object to someone being paid money to appear on television?
There are some people who will never understand politics.
FYI
Then Vice President Nixon came back from his losses in 1960 and 1962 and was President of the United States a mere 7 years later. She can easily do so.
When interviewed last night, Palin was asked point blank whether she supported Romney. She replied that she was a member of “Anybody But Obama”, so of course she would support Romney.
