Then the translator for the following must have completely screwed up what he [Ahmadinejad] was saying about Hugo Chavez and his "Progressive", "anti-Imperialist", "revolutionary current" in South America. /s (only the far left uses such terminology)
From CBS-News, July 29, 2006:
Chavez Vows To 'Stand By Iran'
After Oil Talks In Tehran, Venezuelan Leader Called 'Brother' By Ahmedinejad
"Chavez pledged that his country would 'stay by Iran at any time and under any condition,' state television reported. Ahmadinejad said he saw in Chavez a kindred spirit." "'We do not have any limitation in cooperation,' Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying. 'Iran and Venezuela are next to each other and supporters of each other. Chavez is a source of a progressive and revolutionary current in South America and his stance in restricting imperialism is tangible.'":

Yes, the “translator” must have done, PRECISELY, what he/she/it must do, politically, just as Ahamdi-Nejad has done, politically.
Politics is a separate matter to Personal belief.
Good to be discerning. Many FR posts/threads, have indicated, OBVIOUSLY that Ahmadi-Nejad has a strong messianic (religious) belief. Where do we find that “actual” equivalent of Mahdi in Hugo Chavez, or any Socialist or Communist ideology?
If you do find that equivalent, messianic belief, in Socialism or Communism of, for example, Hugo Chavez, per AN’s belief, then I suspect, a conservative/republican, is no different, ultimately, to the liberal/democrats in the US - only difference can be indicated in the political stance, words and jibes.
