They don't need to. Thanks to whistle-blowers, Issa already knows pretty much everything he needs to know, and which of the documents requested will provide the necessary evidence.

Now I see why the gun walking program was ‘no big deal’ for Holder after what happened in Oklahoma City where a lot more people died. Also, there is a question, after the report signed by Zapata was found by DHS, as to why Zapata died. Was it a chance ambush or was he set up? After the killings in the jail cells of the guys who could make life difficult for DOJ, there is now no doubt in my mind that to keep Zapata quiet on the gun walking, he was set up & taken out.
