While Warren will not meet with Cherokee women traveling from far away to speak with her, shes holding fundraisers in the Bay State this week to celebrate her birthday on Friday.

The real Indians not the faux Netroots Indians are comin for ya, Lizzy. Better circle the Priuses, lay in a fresh supply of invectives and denials, because the good guys aint liable to show up in the nick of time.
LOL!!!
The cherokee were one of the few Native groups that actually looked favorably at assimilating into the european culture and then the dim’s favorite idol andrew jackson stabbed them in the back.
Things would have been a hell of a lot different if Andrew Jackson wasn’t president, heck I daresay the cherokee people would have become a more intergal part of america.
I hope Andrew Jackson is burning in hell right now for what he did to the Cherokee.
Lol! I plan to share this with my husband, whose paternal grandmother was authentically Cherokee.
[It is unfortunate that the only choice is Scott Brown. ]
So a choice between Foe Fauxahauntaus and Leather Totonka with big Horn.
He who stabs in back and she who stabs in front....
We need to become “they who hold feet to campfire”.... either way...
We have a president now that is doing and has done far more damage to ALL Americans than Jackson ever did to the Cherokees (half of my ancestry). And I sincerely hope Obama burns in hell for what he’s ‘still’ doing (and has yet to do) to Americans and to Israel.
Just saw that the Muslim Brotherhood has won power in Egypt. Everything is going along according to “the plan”, IOW.
My Jeep is more Cherokee than Warren.
Well being a Jeep Liberty and everything, it IS first cousin to a Cherokee of the Jeep type.
I’m jus’ sayin’.
“Endeavor to persevere.”
The Indians ARE the good guys.
Fauxcahontis, if she wins will be a seat warmer for Joke3. She’d be 70 by the end of her first term.
Just when I thought it couldn't get worse.
I’m still waiting for this question:
Ms. Warren, did your adult children use the Native American designation for college and grad school admissions, scholarships, and job applications?
What point? "Look at this paleface, trying to horn in on our Preferred Victim benefits! Cheater!!!"?
Even if they had a better point, such as, "All distribution of jobs, votes, and money based on race or ethnicity is pernicious and un-American," I think the point has already been made to anyone who is willing to pay attention.
I'm curious what you thought of the Vietnam Vets who came down hard on Richard Blumenthal's stolen valor assertion that he served in Vietnam?
I think you may be incorrectly judging the motives of these Cherokee women. The focus should be on WARREN’s motives.
There’s a difference between claiming to have served in the military and claiming to be a favored minority: one is the dishonest claim to an accomplishment, and one is not. However, even in the veterans’ case, eventually the point has been made, and further marches or caravans or whatever are unproductive.
One of the problems with our society is that people have been taught to be “proud” of non-accomplishments, so that we now have whole industries devoted to creating a sense of entitlement based on breathing, rather than respect that is earned through good character and achievement.
I suppose that there are more disgraceful acts by our presidents, but what Jackson did has to be near the top of the heap. I, being half-Cherokee, have long despised the man.
It's a shame that he got to die in bed.
I’m not trying to judge their motives, but to figure out their point. It’s already been established that there is absolutely no evidence that Ms. Warren is Cherokee, but that she has claimed to be Cherokee in order to take advantage of racially preferential policies and sentiment.
I am genuinely curious as to what else there is to be said that requires people’s making long journeys to say it to her personally. There is a financial cost and an opportunity cost to this event: what is its intended benefit?
