These people kill and are proud of it.

There is no cure for their sickness except the same cure they are seeking. They must be killed.

There can be no peace with animals who kill for no purpose, the purpose of killing them is self defense.

The only flaw I see with the analogy is the pathetic attempt to portray Pol Pot as some sort of leader who shaped the movement.

He was not.

Pot was middle management who wound up on top of the heap when grizzly infighting removed those at the top, and the middle echelons elevated one of their own to the fore.

“By each Camdodian mass grave, where women and children were buried together, there was a banana tree nearby where the innocent babies were swung against the trunk.”

Probable error in the “banana tree” because a banana is too soft, basically like an overgrown cattail.

Probably, banyan tree was what the author meant.

In any case, when Palisimiams act out, the only cure is to totally destroy the nearest town. Make the rubble bounce, and the other Palisimians will understand.
