Romney’s smart not to let Obama change the political discussion away from Obama’s horrid economy, and record as the POTUS. Obama despertely needs to muddle the waters if he has any chance at all for re-election.

Much as I dislike Romney, I must say that he is doing the right thing in Campaign 2012 by keeping the focus on Obama’s dismal record.

Don’t get drawn into playing to Obama’s gambit. Stay focused upon what Obama and his supermajority Congress of Pelosi and Reid have done to the fabric of this nation.

Immigration policy, despite Obama’s recent EO, is the perogative of the Congress. Make sure we get as Conservative a Congresss as we can in 2012 so that we can hold the President’s feet to a blazing fire of Conservatism.

If that’s so, then Obama’s order is unconstitutional. But Mitt won’t undo it? Don’t we need a president who will defend the Constitution?

You are correct, sir. I think it's a trap set to get Romney embroiled in a immigrant hating kerkuffle.

Rove, Texas farmers, Georgia farmers, Rubio have all been looking for some solution.

I don't blame Romney for not jumping up and down, screaming about this at this point, as much as I personally would love to see the law strictly enforced. I guess, I'm thinking there are some (very few) circumstances which should be considered at the risk of looking cold and heartless to the electorate.

I agree with post 20. Obama wants to divert the discussion from the bad economy and this fake amnesty is one of his diversions. Romney has to keep the focus on the economy. Not disagreeing is not endorsing. It is obvious Obama has unconstitutionally exceeded his executive power and this won’t stand.

We do have to make sure the elections are honest as AG Holder is using attacks on voter ID and FL purging non-citizens as a way to fake the vote. Nation wide we have to get the GOP to have pool watchers at every ballot box-volunteer if you can!

Romney is as smart as a smart DUMBASS RINO! Strategery my ass!

Americans are not stupid and would welcome a conservative LEADER that could multitask -RATHER than a limp wristed RINO that is afraid of a conservative shadow!

Romney's smart to let Obama create an issue in which if Romney doesn't say the correct thing, Romney's base abandons him?

I don't get that, at all. We have to assume that Obama knows Romney is just a white version of himself, a full white version.

The base abandons Romney in droves beginning today and the independent and undecided voters just say "why should I vote for Romney, he's just a pasty white version of the dude we already have in there"

Friday's imperial edict caught Romney with his pants down - that was easy! The race is now pretty much a tossup and Team Zero, if they have any sense at all, will issue more imperial edicts and further expose the liberal Romney and the quisling, do-nothing, ball-less Congress.

Obama plays this right and Romney loses in November just as sure and tomorrow's Monday.

And here I thought only left dim bulbs believed in Hope & Change.

If Willard becomes president, a Republican dominated congress will roll over and beg him to scratch their bellies.

I tend to agree. Why make a statement NW when this EO will likely be halted by the lawsuits that will be filed next week? Then Romney can then make a statement after the judiciary throws out the EO. He will get better exposure after that.
