Things you don't see too much of any more

1. Diving boards in public pools.

2. See-saws in public playgrounds.

3. Merry-go-rounds in public playgrounds.

4. Monkey bars in public playgrounds.

We used to play tag on those as well. Couldn't touch the ground, if you did, you were "it".

We played what we called chicken fights. Basically a form of king of the monkey bars.

2 people would get on the bars. One at each end. You'd meet in the middle and try to pull the other person off, usually hanging from your hands and using your legs to pull the other person off.
