Kind of funny. Putin isn’t a Christian? After all, he was a kGB Agent.
To: Perdogg
Looks like the Russians thought they were being over charged for that reset button.
To: MinorityRepublican
Good for the Russians. The Alawites in Syria protects the Christians. If the Alawites are overthrown, itll be open season on Christians in Syria..... Unfortunately, the overthrow of the Alawites with a government support by Saudi Arabia is in the best interest of the United State. It cuts Iran Shia Crescent in half and could ultimately lead to the overthrow of the Mullahs in Iran (assuming Obama is not the president and blows it again).
The problem is the US does not call in its blood and money spent in the Middle East an insist that Christians are protected.

Good for the Russians. Syria is now, officially off limits to any American expeditionary force assembled by Barack Hussein Obama and John McCain.

This is like the late 70s and 1980 all over again. A lousy economy led by an incompetent president, high oil prices, the Soviets invading some muslim country, our Armed Forces being dismantled and demoralized, bad music on the radio...

"Muslims killing Muslims killing Russians???? Wheres the downside?"Muslims killing Christians (who are unfortunately 'allied' with Assad). Russians indiscriminately killing everyone.
To: Leep
I’m supporting the Christians which means rooting for the Russians, Syrians (Alawites) and even the Iranians over Saudi Arabia and the Muslim Brotherhood.
The best thing we can do is order up plenty of popcorn and sit on the sidelines. If I was president I’d call Putin and encourage him.

Allies? Sense when? Russia is no one’s friend. BUT we are trapped in a classic Chess move—The Fork—Putin is a master Chess player. If we move on Russians in Syria, he will close our land route to Afghanistan leaving our guys trapped with no supplies. Pakistan will not let fuel or ammunition come in. This was well thought out plan to pull Syria into the New Russian Empire—These guys will put an end to the Civil War with a brutal crackdown. They start with a port—end with the whole nation. To stave this off Obama will have to get clever—and he has no “clever” to use. Now Hillary might have something up her sleeve—Use french troops??? She is as clever as a snake and just as poisonous. I don’t think this will end well for the USA.

Putin is a bigtime Christian—or at least he says so and goes to Church and holds the candle. Whats in his heart? Only God know that. The question is what sort of Christian is he? His Russia is building and restoring churches—I think for political reasons at home he may well protect Christians in Syria. Remember the 3rd Rome legend that Russia will bring Europe and the world to Christ—if they want it or not.
To: Perdogg
Russia says that they haven't sent any troops yet, though they admit that several transports with marines are ready to go on a short notice.

Perhaps this information was intentionally released to create uncertainty. At the cost of one free news item the whole Syria is now off limits to Obama.

This reminds me of the Balkans, Libya, Egypt—all the atrocity stories the press highlighted to get us into a war. Like Afghanistan, Russia's going to find it's a lot easier to go to Syria than it will be to leave Syria.

Yep it will happen, sooner rather than later with liberals in charge.
