In Case You Don't Like Romney...
Columnist Andrew McCarthy gives us what probably is the most important question regarding the upcoming presidential election
If Romney wins the nomination, as seems very likely, I will enthusiastically support his candidacy. For my friends who may have hesitation on that score, Id just ask you to keep four things in mind:
1.. Justice Scalia just turned 78
2.. Justice Kennedy will turn 78 later this year
3.. Justice Breyer will be 76 in August
4.. Justice Ginsburg turned 81 about a week ago and has had cancer twice.
Whoever we elect as president in November is almost certainly going to choose at least one and maybe more new members of the Supreme Court in addition to hundreds of other life-tenured federal judges, all of whom will be making momentous decisions about our lives for decades to come.
If you dont think it matters whether the guy making those calls is Mitt Romney or Barack Obama, I think youre smokin something funky .
So for anybody who is thinking of not voting because your favorite didnt get nominated, or writing in a candidate who can't win ... just imagine this possibility:
'SUPREME COURT JUSTICE ERIC HOLDER'
Did that get your attention!
He cannot win again without huge and horrid repercussions for this country.
*sigh*
FRiends, that's the kind of attitude Romney's admin would have toward conservative Republicans.
It is gutless (no insult intended) and any failure to vote for the anti-Obama candidate gives Obama a greater chance to win.
By all best final estimates, Bush won Florida in 2000 by 527 votes. Can you imagining sitting out 2000 because some candidate wasn't “conservative enough,” and 529 other Conservatives doing the same thing, and Gore facing Islamic terrorists after 9/11
Yes, it's that important.
And who could forget Buddy Roehmer?
Hey! He could still surprise us!
Realistic? Try Dream World. Look at his record!
all have come to a different conclusion than Virgil Goode.
I like agreeing with them, I think they are each a lot smarter than Virgil Goode, and they have all come to the realization that Romney is the only ABO that can win.
I feel I'm in good company with my tagline.
Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
Indeed not, FRiend. It is an oar in the water, one of millions, steering this ship of state! I’m not voting “against” anything but statism. I’m voting third party knowing that either Obama or Romney will be the next pres (unless we have a miracle). My vote, millions of votes, will be counted and heard.
There is the King James Bible used by LDS inc and the Book of Mormon (the BM) used by LDS inc. Which one did you mean to refer to for the oath?
The way I see it is we have two options.
We can get every down ticket conservative “soldier/officer” (elected official) we can in office and we can buck the liberal command or we can buck the conservative command.
Both are dangerous, but not lining the command with conservatives where its actually possible is disastrous.
Some will be obvious, some will be sleepers, some will be moles, but we have to control the government apparatus.
As much as we ridicule Obama for being stupid,he actually gets that.
He has surrounded himself with Czars and Community organizers and yes man. Most of them have foolishly exposed themselves early on.
I hope our folks are taking notes.
Agreed.
I am not not voting for a liberal candidate - period.
As I see it, there are really four choices:
1. Vote for Barack Obama
2. Vote for Mitt Romney
3. Vote for someone else
4. Don't vote at all
Choices 3 and 4 are really the same, in that they do not result in a vote being cast for someone who has a chance of winning. I can see where someone would want to exercise option 4, like if you are in a car crash and end up in a coma, or you are trapped in a mudslide and it takes too long to dig you out. But I don't understand anyone who would choose option 3. If you're a conservative, and you actually do cast a vote, but you don't vote for Romney, you are allowing an Obama voter to cast one unopposed vote. You say you're a conservative but you're helping Obama to win. How does that make the slightest bit of sense? And by writing in a vote for Sarah Palin or George Washington or Barry Goldwater, you contribute to an overall list of votes that the vile lefties can make fun of later. "Look at those dumb Repugnicans, they voted for people who weren't even running for the office."
If you're going to vote for President but you're not going to vote for Romney, do us all a favor and stay home. A vanity vote is just a meaningless gesture that makes all of us look bad.
Does anyone know a thing about John Bryson?
We know he crashed his car last weekend.
Look another enviroweenie in charge of US Commerce...

We better clear this rabble out. Obama has the Gov stacked thick with watermelons and activists.
Who ever gets elected as CIC is going to get fragged.
If we allow Obamas clan to stick around it’s us that are gonna get fragged.
I understand that’s why folks are concerned.
We have to have enough down vote folks and enough tea party anger that Romney will be willing to clear out Obamas rats nest of cronys.
He doesnt have to do it in public (preferable) but if he doesn’t we will.
What you don’t get is that if he has another term he won’t be fettered.
He will go scorched earth on us.
Consider Eric Holder and Boehner/McConnell.
They all gotta go
If Obama’s re-elected, I’ll have to check-myself-in at the psych ward for post-traumatic stress. I’d be bawlin’ like those North Koreans in the presence of the great successor; only, my tears wouldn’t be feigned!
