The Florida State Attorney's office has announced the wife of George Zimmerman - the defendant in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin - has been arrested on suspicion of perjury.
Her husband stands accused of second-degree murder after shooting the unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin dead, in what he says was self-defence, after claiming he had been attacked.
If he stays in jail, he will get killed by the brothers.
Those Nazi bastards! What’s next? “Take the plea deal or we’ll shoot your dog”??
There we go. 2nd degree won’t get us a conviction, so let’s get these Zimmermans on jaywalking!
What do you call it when a person lies to a judge under oath?
This portion of the wound is entirely self inflicted, at least from where I sit.
Refraining from speculation under oath is NOT lying.
This is how the left does it - trump up charges then hope for a procedural technicality to make stick.
Unfortunately George gave them the opening. But some of us won't forget what this entire farce is really all about.
I have to wonder if the Judge actually looked at the timeline of when donations were made and when Mrs or Mr Z actually logged into the acct. If you don’t open the paypal emails, the title line only tells you that you have a payment...not the amount of it. I would also be interested in how much was remitted by “echeck”, those take almost a week to clear. It is possible that they were not aware of the balance when they were in front of the judge.
If she’s found guilty, I might believe that she perjured herself. Until then, she’s innocent. Is she guilty because she’s the spouse of George Zimmerman? Is that how it works?
telling a judge you are penniless when you know you have more than 100K in the bank IS lying. And that is what she has been arrested for.
Had these 2 lovebirds just frikkin’ told the truth to the judge about the money, both could be enjoying a margarita tonight on the veranda.
If the state keeps pursuing him this way they're going to get riots, anyway.
Excuse me!? Suspicion of Perjury? Suspicion!
These people are definitely playing hardball. The Zimmerman’s may be the primary participants in this power play. But I believe it is also aimed at the rest of us when you get down to brass tacks.
The ultimate goal though is the total subjugation of the rest of the citizenry. Citizenry... Hah, they intend on us becoming their slaves. It’s not enough that they want to confiscate the rewards of our hard work by taxes, they also want us to cower when they walk by and give a sneer or hard look.
And if we have the temerity to defend ourselves when we are attacked then we must be destroyed in such a manner that no one will want to go through that same thing.
Unfortunately George gave them the opening.

I completely agree, neither would be in jail today if they’d told the truth.
So the judge is correct and they are guilty, because the judge says so?
If shes found guilty, I might believe that she perjured herself. Until then, shes innocent.
<><><><,
OK. That is how it works here in the US.
If the latter, I can easily understand Zimmerman truthfully answering as he did, not knowing how he could legally use the money contributed to his PayPal account.
And if so this is all BS.
She said she currently didn’t know how much. She gave the court the name of the person who did know.
The court ignored that piece of information and Angela Corey went even MORE nuts.
They don’t gave 100k in the bank. They had a PayPal account which they apparently aren’t clear about how can be used.
You don’t tell a judge you have assets when you don’t know in what manner they can be legally employed.
Except that Judge Lester didn't give GZ an opportunity to say anything at the bond revocation hearing. In fact Lester didn't even give GZ the opportunity to be there, or to prepare for the prosecutor's dishonest motion.
When Shellie was testifying at the first bond hearing, she clearly gave the judge the means to find out how much money was in the PayPal account, and he wasn't interested. For all we know, she thought they were asking about any separate money she had. She also may have thought that the money was only for legal representation or for their living expenses, since that is what the donations were for. Would she know if it was fraud to use it for bail? Clearly, George didn't want to use it for bail.
