I'm surprised these cities have dropped out of the top 10:
Gary, Indiana,
New Orleans, Louisiana
Washington DC
Camden, NJ
Cleveland, Ohio

All of these cities are filled with Democrats and Democrat politicians who never quite solve the problems of their communities.

Wow! In Flint you have a 2.3% chance of violent crime!
I suspect the number of police in each jurisdiction has precious little to do with the crime rate.

There is a decades long inconvenient political and demographic component in common here.

Chicago worked REALLY REALLY hard this past weekend to make it into the top ten!
To: SeekAndFind
Frankly I’d walk in a Detroit blackout than some areas of Chicago during the day.
After all, what was the weekend tally in Chicago vs Detroit?

While the violent crime rate drops nationally this means more drones, pre-crime cameras, and stripping of our Constitutional rights will be needed!

Compared to most American cities, Atlanta has extremely high incidences of both violent and property crimes.GO ATLANTA! I know we can make it to number one if we just try a little harder. With the current rabidly anti-gun administration (black democrat of course), I'm sure that disarming potential victims is on their agenda. This will enable Atlanta to hit the number one spot sooner rather than later.

Detroit, Mich Median income $25,787 ??

Many of New Orleans troubles have been moved to Houston and Savanna. DC has a great deal of money and almost no unemployment thanks to the 25% increase in Federal Spending. Almost the entire population of Gary IN is gone. There population is now around 80K making it below 100K and not eligible for the survey. Cleveland has pushed most of its’ problems out of the city and into the inner ring suburbs like Cleveland Hts and East Cleveland, that and the loss of population has made Cleveland not only much safer, It isn't even the most dangerous city on Ohio anymore.

Yawn.
These type of sensationalistic articles are meaningless.
These are just statistics that point to a small inner city area infested by BLACK criminals that have absolutely NO IMPACT on the much larger Metroplex.
Whites have long ago moved far away from these areas and avoid them.

Flint, Mich Median income: $22,672??
That is nuts...I was making more than that in the 1980s...
How in hell can these people survive on 1980s wages?
And throw in sky high winter energy bills??
That’s nuts.

Yeah, I’ve heard that DC is pretty far up there. But then, it’s full of politicians. No surprise.

Amazing that Chicago, with its average of 15-40 shootings over any given weekend, isn’t on this list.
