CBC Staff: Opposition to Obama is Racist
Beltway Confidential ^ | June 11, 2012 | Joel Gehrke

Angela Rye, Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus, argued that President Obama has struggled during his first term due to racially-motivated opposition from conservatives who dislike having a black president.

"This is probably the toughest presidential term in my lifetime," Rye said during CSPAN's Q&A yesterday. "I think that a lot of what the president has experienced is because he's black. You know, whether it's questioning his intellect or whether or not he's Ivy League. It's always either he's not educated enough or he's too educated; or he's too black or he's not black enough; he's too Christian or not Christian enough. There are all these things where he has to walk this very fine line to even be successful."

She said that "a lot" of conservative opposition is racially-charged, citing the use of the word "cool" in an attack ad launched by Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS superPAC. "There's an ad, talking about [how] the president is too cool, [asking] is he too cool? And there's this music that reminds me of, you know, some of the blaxploitation films from the 70s playing in the background, him with his sunglasses," Rye said. "And to me it was just very racially-charged. They weren't asking if Bush was too cool, but, yet, people say that that's the number one person they'd love to have a beer with. So, if that's not cool I dont know what is. Even 'cool,' the term 'cool,' could in some ways be deemed racial [in this instance]."

Rye said "I don't know" when asked if black enthusiasm for Obama might be lower than in 2008, but added that the Democrats have to explain how voter ID laws are racist to help motivate black voters.

Here we go.. The left is setting the stage towards creating an environment where being dissatisfied with Obama's presidency is tantamount to 'being racist'! Watch for the race card to be played numerous times as election day nears in the hopes that 'white guilt' gets Obama re-elected. Little do blacks know that even if Obama were white, he'd still be considered by many as having embarked on the willful destruction of the America. It is his ability as a black man to hide behind the race card that has allowed him to do so. Nixon's wrongdoings pale in comparison to Obama's numerous impeachable offenses.

What could be more racist than something called the Congressional Black Caucus?

Talk about the mote in your brother’s eye!

How about “He isn’t American”? Or maybe, “He is too socialist”?

Frankly, I don’t give a damn anymore. Their bleats fall on my deaf ears, for sure. I’m sure it’s that way for many other honest Americans who actually pay net taxes. While they act like the majority, they are just gonna have to somehow become more than 12-15% of the population to make a difference.

Of course, the mainstream media, the administration and all the other politicos magnify that small percentage, but voting power is NOT there. It is only ‘there’ when we let it, when we become riddled with ‘white-guilt’ or the need to ‘seem not-racist’.

To my mind, they can bleat till the cows come home, till they get corraled and sheared of their mythical vote power.

These days, thanks to the Obama administration, I’m fine with being “racist.”
But, to quote Inigo Montoya, “I don’t think that word means what you think it means.”

The left simply defines racism as only possible for white people.

That is insane, but they do it. It is right out of Orwell’s 1984.

“White guilt” propelled the Marxist b*st*rd all the way into the White House.

It should come as no surprise that its flames are being fanned again. He cannot possibly win without it.

They can call us whatever they want and I won’t lose any sleep. They’ve cried wolf a thousand too many times for anyone to take them seriously.

Heck yes, Bush would talk to you like a neighbor
Obama wouldn’t have a teleprompter so forget that.

Angela Rye, Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus

That says it all.

It’s always the fauilt of “The Man” to these people.
They have no sense of personal responsibility. It’s always someone else’s fault.

Any good leader know how to pick subordinates.
Look at Obama’s picks, and their records, and you will see that Obama is no leader at all.He didnt pick competent people he picked cronies and flunkies.

The sad thing is, the blacks that believe this are the ones most held back from achieving.

If you can con yourself into believing the reason you’ve never had anything is because of your skin color, then you’ve set yourself up for a lifetime of hate and failure.

The entire concept of a Congressional BLACK Caucus is racist. We have a black (1/2 black) president — time to disband the CBC.
