On Wednesdays broadcast of MSNBCs Morning Joe, former Tennessee Democratic Rep. Harold Ford offered his theory on why last nights Wisconsin recall election went in Republican Gov. Scott Walkers favor: He got a little lucky.
Fords co-panelist, former Vermont Democratic Gov. Howard Dean, blamed money and Morning Joe co-host Willie Geist asked why the Democratic side is unable to match the Republican side when it comes to money, since the rules are the same for everyone.
You know, its a good question, and its one that will play out and be answered over the coming months, Ford replied. I look at a little differently than the governor does. I think the money aspect is important and was important. But I think at some level, you look at what happened in Ohio when Gov. Kasich overreached on collective bargaining rights for voters. They put [it] on the ballot, it was voted down, and he lost that and repented in many ways and changed his ways.

Got lucky?...We’ll show you who gets lucky in November, Jackass!
Well, I suppose he was lucky. There just weren’t enough people in the old-age homes and the loony bins to bus around to all the polls. And they just couldn’t manage to get more than 115% of the people in Madison to vote. And the dead were feeling a bit lazy yesterday. And . . . .
To win by one vote,I would call lucky.
A blowout......?
Money My @$$!!
the unions spent a fortune to no avail....(I hope it broke their retirement funds...)
they need to get their heads out of their collective fundaments....
I had to watch this this morning! Ford was hysterical, Mika suicidal and Howard Dean was living in some fantasy world that spun this as a success for the Dems. I then went on to the quickly balding Chuck Todd who was chewing his tie.
good...keep thinking like this, avoid reality and stay ignorant...then lets see what happens in November...
LOL
It was Venus passing in front of the sun LOL or maybe he found a penny
LUCKY???
The MSNBC Klux Klan and the Unions wasted $110 MILLION DOLLARS on these two recalls, and thay have NOTHING to show for it, and 15 months of ginned-up media hate.
The spin today is simply stunning.
Gov. Walker won by a larger margin last night than he did in the first election. That is not luck. We Bonked some Donkeys last night!!!
LOL....as usual the left has got it’s head up where the sun don’t shine ;)
This might date my days.
Remember BO (Before Obama) days, this guy was hailed as the Rising Star in the Dem party as ‘clean and articulate’ different from Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton’s cloth?
My, how much had changed.....
Harold Ford was talking out of his armpit.
53.2% to 46.3% is a difference of 6.9%. Not close, but not a blowout/landslide, the threshold for which was 20% a few decades ago, but even today, rests at 10%.
Well..according to my own calculations...FRAUD made up about 8 points or so in the last hours last night, trying to “steal things” for the demons once again. BUT thankfully—they just “miscalculated” how much they would need to steal it-—and ran out of time—and voters—before the race was called—and realized that to do any more—would look so OBVIOUS..
IOW_-The Lord was on our side this time—and said...NOT THIS TIME—DEMONS!!
