It is really a crying shame that so many of you [enter your religion here] defenders think that anyone who utters anything questionable to your sensibilities whatsoever in the slightest sense think that they are members of some cabal aching to dethrone you.

Talking Points? What the hell are your talking about, fella? Last time I looked this thread showed up in News/Activism, it is neither news, nor is it activism, unless you consider ranging outside of the Religion Forum to defend the ‘faith’ as you misperceive it, activism.

I'm not anti-Catholic and I don't wish to debate the Catholic church. What I am about is standing for the gospel of Jesus Christ as found in the Word. The truth is that the Catholic gospel is not a saving gospel. I have a great burden for Catholic souls. I have many Roman Catholics in my family and I fear for them, so I don't say these things to be mean or because I hate any man. I say them because it is better to be divided in truth than united in error. Carefully compare these Scriptural truths with what you have been told is the gospel. Ask God to open your eyes to see His truth. Ask Him to point you to the real gospel, the gospel upon which you can rest your soul. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:4-9) He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
