Obama’s economy did that, I would guess.

Rebellion is brewing and the old structure left over from the Detroit heydays is freaking, hence the union cops now jumping in.

I do understand that Detroit is in Michigan, but it affected everything from West Va to Minnesota and beyond..

Obama’s economy put families under a lot more pressure due to loss of benefits in the form of higher costs - a lot higher costs. Add to that inflation, and the devaluing of the dollar, plus the other problems that surface when you have power structures fighting for control like what’s happening in DC and America, at large.

I think however, that made the time very right for Governor Walker’s message, and ideas. When Gov. Walker cut off the tap for many union bosses, then they started crying, but at the end of this school year, the truth is, the feeling isn’t negative, it’s positive. No matter what the folks in Madison say (and no matter what the unions say). There are way more “I stand with Walker” signs in my area than Barrett signs.
