Personally, I was guessing that the “superhomo” was going to be Prince Namor, Marvel’s equivalent of Aquaman. It seems like a natural, in that Namor is of the “Homo mermanus” species, which sounds totally “ghey”. The prince himself is totally butch, has tried to get married twice, but in both cases the females died before anything happened.
Green Lantern was always kind of ghey, though. He had a silly, cartoonish superpower, where somebody just materializes a giant mallet, the size of a car, to bop their enemy on the head.
And yet this magnificent superpower was utterly worthless when confronted by cellulose in a matrix of lignin, aka wood. Which is probably found as such only on Earth, in the entire freaking galaxy. In the rest of the galaxy it is like being allergic to Tasmanian devils. Not a big problem unless you live in Tasmania.
Okay, now that GL has come out, you have to wonder about his buddies. I’m thinking the archer Hawkeye, since Green Arrow is a DC character but also likely Ghey.
