Dover, The Monster Mile. The Grinder. Sunday. if it don't rain.
I hear ya Norm. I spend a lot of my time on one of those “social network” forums where local history is the topic. California can’t collapse fast enough for me...
Yeah, I agree w/vox. Time.
Why watch a race live when 30+% is commercials? NASCAR is still this households #1 sport to view but if I had to watch it live I’d quit watching. The four major networks are suing Dish Network because of Dish’s “Hopper” product. “Hopper” allows you to watch prime-time programs w/o commercials on multiple TV’s in your household.
Business Insider has a lengthy article this morning showing why regular TV viewing is declining rapidily due to iTunes, Hulu, Netflex, etc., and viewing/revenue is going the way of newsprint. We watched the season finale of “Castle” last night on iTunes - $2.99 - excellent quality and no commercials.
We’ll watch the race this evening. If it looks like rain I’ll just add a couple of hours to the DVR.
All of them good guys/gals. Nobody gets slobbered.
They just want to see good racing and have fun.
Congratulations on the High Q Score of the weekend bdx1.9.2.
Dover skies look good.. Ping!
On FoX now!!

Regan Smith is taking the blame, he had nowhere to go as he ran into Smoke who took Landon for a spinaroo.. and a whole bunch of folks followed to the garage..It’s SawzAll Time!
Smoke .. Landon just came down on the track and stuff happened.. his car is pretty torn-up.
Checking in for one of my fav tracks.
What a heckuva wreck! Dang looks like it’ll be awhile. I’m working on taking the steering gear out of my Durango so I can’t watch the whole race.
Would have chevked in sooner but the dang pitman arm is hung up on the center link. Tried a puller but I think it’s going to need me loosening the tie rod.
BTW since a lot of bolts are “frozen” on my Durango I started trying some different p-oil. Even Kroil was not working. Finally I mixed up some acetone - mrs p6’s nail polish remover and some transmisdion fluid. Wooo....works GREAT! UNTIL mrs p6 gets home and finds her stuff gone....
Banana Slug Racing is running:

Morning, took a break to check out the race and saw a replay of the commute on the 580 last Tuesday!
go figure...
just took delivery of 300lbs of pork from the bacon companies parent division, did teriyaki ribs yesterday, think we’ll bbq some pork briskets today...
Wow Norm, you and DDD (Dos Dirty Dogs) have almost the same picks as I have.
OK, what time is dinner? I wanted to bbq today but with 3 of the 5 grandkids sick and two others probably on the way down it would have just been me. Mrs p6 is watching the three, youngest son just got home from work and crashed and I really have to get my Durango fixed.
Looks like leftovers for me although I did start raisin bread in the bread machine before I went to the garage. Looks and smells great. Too tired to enjoy it though!
