Last night, Resistance 44 launched its website and one of its first videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-n_wRpqIanA).
What is Resistance 44?
Resistance 44 is a nationwide network of young activists committed to facilitating a radical culture shift from a generation indoctrinated to embrace mob mentality to informed, politically active individual thinkers. It was formed to counteract Generation 44, President Obama's youth movement.
Mission Resistance 44 will make history and fight progressivism at the polls by generating the largest turnout of informed young voters. For far too long, we have been spoon-fed the progressive culture from the likes of Hollywood elites and sensationalized news pundits. We WILL DOMINATE the narrative. We WILL have a say in our future. WE ARE RESISTANCE 44.
Description A. Resist 44 will dominate the social media conversation by creating trending topics on Twitter, friending thousands of Facebook fans, and using every social media platform available to promote the goal of Resistance 44.
B. We will bombard social media platforms with high impact video entertainment that uses shock value, humor, and irony to educate millions of voters ages 18 - 40.
C. Resist 44 will mobilize our nationwide army of activists comprised of accurate and dependable researchers, writers, public speakers, and podcasts who will share goodwill and demonstrate the power of millions of people making a positive impact on the future.
D. We will debunk the stereotypes that progressives place on young conservatives. We will accomplish more without the shackles of government interference and will prove it through concentrated and focused action to change the “it’s always been this way” culture.
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction and with our generation it's on the endangered species list. Young people today know more about American Idol than they do America. Help change that. Join the Resistance!
This sounds very promising. I hope they’re successful. I wonder if the Romney campaign has had any input in this effort.

Good luck to you. The best thing you can do for the young is to make the debt the number one issue, because you are the ones who are going to be hit with it the most. Everything else, including all the social issues Democrats connect the youth with, are meaningless against the debt.
And isn't that a shame?

Yes, the debt is one of the most important issues that we have to face, but everything matters, including social issues. Resistance 44 addresses ALL of the problems we face, including social issues. The current administration that we have is destroying all aspects of life.
Politicians, especially Democrats, view the young voters and especially college age voters in a certain demeaning way. They feel that appealing to the sex,drugs, and rock and roll culture, is a big win for them, like they think everyone wants to relive the 60's and that will satisfy you and get you to vote for them.
But college age voters need to be fully aware that Nancy Pelosi is in her 70s, and she will probably not live to see the full effects of her policies on America. She can spend us into bankruptcy and not care a bit. You, however, will be dealing with the aftermath of this bubble and national debt for most of the rest of your adult working life. Young people cannot get distracted by voting for the "cool" president when their whole lives are at stake right now.
When I mean that the debt is everything, here is an example, the student loan bubble. Yes, the student loan bubble is terrible, and will hurt your generation for decades. Politicians will promise quick answers, like bailing out the students. But all that does is raises the government debt. And who will then pay the government debt? Not the boomers, they are on their way out. It is still you, paying off the student debt, now denominated in government bonds. Everything goes back to the debt now.
I am a big social issues conservative, but the best way to fight for social issues right now is through fighting the debt, which is funding the fight against our social issues.

Resistance44 was created to counteract Generation44, President Obama’s youth organization. It does leftist, but we’re hoping to attract the youth vote through social media in an unconventional way.
