First Lady: Racism is still an issue in America
The Washington Examiner ^ | May 29, 2012 | Charlie Spiering

First Lady Michelle Obama appeared on "The View" this morning and was asked about racism in the upcoming election.

"Do you think that racism is going to play a part in this campaign?" asked host Barbara Walters.

"You know, racism is still an issue in this country," the First Lady answered. "But I'll tell you right now, Barack Obama is president of the United States. And he's done a phenomenal job. And this country put him in office."

"And they will again." interjected one of the hosts.

"Exactly, absolutely," Michelle answered.

And when we come together and use that voice, we can change the way companies do business.

We can change the way Congress makes laws.

We can transform our schools and our neighborhoods and our cities.”

Yeh and “when I wear 5 boob belts at once I can convince all the azz kizzers I am a fashionista to be reckoned with and the media will happily play along”

She’s right

likewise, we paid for Obama’s visit to Kabul last month so he could announce, basically, that bin Laden had been killed. his campaign coffers should have paid for that trip, since that is exactly what it was, a campaign ploy.

There’s a group of people in this country of which 85-90% will decide who to vote for based primarily on the candidates’ skin color.

I’d call it bigotry more than racism since they aren’t saying one “race” is in some way better than others based on skin tone, only that they prefer one skin tone over the other.

Maybe the first lady can arrange to speak to NAACP groups from now until the election to tell them that it’s wrong to vote for someone based on color. She can probably find a few KKK groups as well, but she should work with the NAACP in order to be heard by the greatest number of people on this important issue.

I am still wondering why Republicans haven’t started the investigation into why he has used Air Force One as his personal Campaign plane without paying a dime for it’s use.

I also would like to know where are the buses we paid for and he used ONCE.
A million apiece for those puppies and they haven’;t been seen since.

She’s right. Her brand of black racism is a real big issue in America.

“You know, racism is still an issue in this country...”

Hey Princess Bacon Butt, you’re right.... and as long as worthless a$$holes like you, your bastard husband, the lib media, the dems and the white hatting blacks continue to feed the monster, racism will always be here.

I guess that the Petulant Wookster with That Big A$$ Caboose dosen’t worry about racism while she was taking all of those expensive, lavish vacations in faraway, exotic locations.....while stuffing her jack-o-lantern sized face with huge bites of buttered lobster, Kobe beef and greasy French fries........

Start with your husband, MOOshelle.

From Omuslim’s books:

I FOUND A SOLICE IN NURSING A PERVASIVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER’S RACE”. Barack Hussein Obama

From Dreams from My Father: “That hate hadn’t gone away,” he wrote,.. BLAMING “WHITE PEOPLE — some CRUEL, some IGNORANT, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.” Barack Hussein Obama

From ‘Dreams From My Father’, “There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs,” he wrote. “It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, TO SHOW YOUR LOYALTY TO THE BLACK MASSES, TO STRIKE OUT and name names” Barack Hussein Obama

From ‘Dreams From My Father’, ‘I VOWED THAT I WOULD NEVER EMULATE WHITE MEN and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. IT WAS INTO MY FATHER’S IMAGE, THE BLACK MAN, SON OF AFRICA, THAT I’D PACKED ALL THE ATTRIBUTES I SOUDHT IN MYSELF, THE ATTRIBUTES OF Martin and MALCOLM, DuBois and Mandela.”

From The Audicity of Hope: TO AVOID BEING MISTAKEN FOR A SELLOUT, I CHOSE MY FRIENDS CAREFULLY. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. THE MARXIST PROFESSORS and structural feminists.”

From The Audicity of Hope: (After graduating from college, Obama eventually went to Chicago to interview for a job as a community organizer. His racial attitudes came into play as he sized up the man who would become his boss:) “There was something about him that made me wary,” Obama wrote. “A little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.”

From The Audacity of Hope:..’the white race...“that ghostly figure that haunted black dreams.”

From “Dreams”: (after making his first visit to Kenya, he wrote of being disappointed to learn that his paternal grandfather had been a servant to rich whites. that the revelation caused) “ugly words to flash across my mind. Uncle Tom. Collaborator. House n-——”.

From The Audacity of Hope: “We are no longer just a Christian nation... We are also a Jewish nation, a MUSLIM nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of disbelievers”

From ‘Audacity’: “Her memories of the Christians who populated her youth were not fond ones....For my mother, organized religion too often dressed up closed-mindedness in the garb of piety, cruelty and oppression in the cloak of righteousness.”

From Audacity: “Malcolm X’s autobiography seemed to offer something different. His repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me; the blunt poetry of his words, his unadorned insistence on respect, promised a new and uncompromising order, martial in its discipline, forged through sheer force

Then there is his love of Islam:

From Dreams From My Father: “THE PERSON WHO MADE ME PROUDEST OF ALL, THOUGH, WAS MY [half brother], ROY..HE CONVERTED TO ISLAM”.

From ‘Dreams From my Father’, “IN INDONESIA, I SPEND TWO YEARS AT A MUSLIM SCHOOL” “..I STUDIED THE KORAN..”

From ‘Audacity of Hope: “LOLO (Obama’s step father) FOLLOWED ISLAM....”I LOOKED TO LOLO FOR GUIDANCE”.

From ‘The Audacity Of Hope, “I WILL STAND WITH THEM (MUSLIMS) SHOULD THE POLITICAL WINDS OF WAR SHIFT IN AN UGLY DIRECTION..” .

An acquaintance in Austin told me all his multi-racial co-workers voted for Obama in 2008. This year no one he knows at the same place plans to do the same. Austin is quite liberal - and those liberals are outspokenly not impressed with the hope or change they got. The big donors and celebrities will be very disappointed upon the implosion.

“And this country put him in office.” (conclude Chewbacca)

“And they will again.” interjected one of the horrid, bad smelling, raucous, belching, hooting, slobbering, sycophantic, fart-out-loud/hey, we don’t even pretend to care anymore, left-wing, butt-kissing, liberal cheer-leading/making-no-pretense-at-objectivity, mouth-breathing, brain-dead, bravely-re-stating-what-they-all-believe, bone-headed, simple-minded, funny-for-all-the-wrong-reasons, lead-bottomed, cankle-ankled, craggy faced, saggy a**ed, armpit sniffing, garbage talking hosts (probably Joyless Beasthar).

The only race problem America still has is that some people insist on being identified by their race rather than their individuality.

Racism an issue?

It certainly is.

Pro-Black racism.

Otherwise, a moron like Obama couldn’t get elected to a post as lavatory policeman in a public restroom.

Absolutely, he won’t be reelected

it ain't over until it's over. Remember his pro-gay marriage approach? for us conservatives, it seems like political suicide. But don't opinion polls show that a sizable chunk of Americans are in favor of gay marriage? 20 years ago it was maybe less than 5% I guess, but it has grown incredibly over the past two decades (support for homosexuality that is) -- why you or I have different opinions towards gays compared to our parents.

In my case I can pinpoint Friends as starting that change in my head. I'm reversing it now (off telly for years), and I can see the effect it had. I was never pro-gay, but tv moved me away from being pretty intolerant to not so much.
