NJ Muslims angry over NYPD surveillance findings

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- Muslim leaders in New Jersey say they are angry but uncertain what their next step will be after the state's attorney general found that New York City police did not violate any laws in its surveillance of Muslim businesses, mosques and student groups in New Jersey.

Several mosque leaders who attended a meeting Thursday with Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa said they were shocked he found no violation of state criminal or civil laws by the NYPD in operations that many Muslims considered unjustified surveillance based solely on religion.

I’m not a big fan of Christie, that’s for sure. That his complaint was about the NYPD not checking in with the Feds makes me question his thought processes. Is he the only person in government who doesn’t know the MB work out of the WH?

Whether its his opinon on the Ground Zero Mosque (a local affair), a government employee getting fired for expressing his right to burn the Koran on his OWN time, appointing a Muslim ‘immigration” attorney with no prior experience as a judge to the Superior Court of Passaic County New Jersey (Sohail Mohammad)and calling critics of the appointment wack-jobs, Christie has demonstrated again and again that he is neither a conservative or somebody who understands the Muslim menace to western civilization (or eastern civilization for that matter).

He is a very arrogant, pompous man.

He’s also manifestly unfit for higher office.
