Actually, the basement didn’t belong to Ramos, but to somebody (a black man) who was a handyman for a local gay sex club and had some sort of child molesting charges against him. The police didn’t find anything in the basement.

The investigation obviously sparked this admission, though. It’s very possible that all of these guys knew each other, because child molesters seem to hang out together, either because they’ve met in prison or, nowadays, they’ve met online.

I really hope this is the guy (I think someone else confessed to it a few years ago, btw) and that the parents can finally get closure on this.

I live in NYC and lived here back then as well. I have read many of the stories about the recent search for remains. Nowhere did i read that the handyman worked for a local gay sex club. Can you provide a link as to where that information came from?
