By the end of the century, the Twin Cities area could see eight times as many deaths annually due to extreme heat as it does now, according to a study by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).
The projected increase -- from about 14 per year to 121 by century's end -- would be among the steepest experienced by 40 major metro areas. The authors said that is partly because extremely oppressive heat waves would be more of a shock to northern residents' systems.

Hot off the press at the Red Star Tribune.. Your friendly agenda-driven NRDC looking out for you.
I hope all the lakes don’t dry up too, no telling what they might find.

"By the end of the century" we all will be long dead and no one will remember this bit of puke.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, there has been zero warming for
fifteen years.

The reason people will be dying from the weather is that the wacko-environmentalists and their leftist governmental lackeys will have made energy either too expensive, or there will be a severe shortage.

It's difficult to overstate the level of scientific illiteracy it would take to either make this statement or believe this statement. The authors are fools or shameless liars - there is no third option.

Either the writer accepts the NRDC’s propaganda that greenhouse gases are the cause of global warming, or he wrote up the NRDC’s BS as fact.
There is no proof that CO2 is increasing the temperature of the earth (maybe the Sun is), but why let real science get in the way of pseudoscience.
The NRDC long ago went to the DarkSide of fake science, and hired leftist ideologues instead of experienced scientists.
Now they are just a bunch of frauds and alarmists.
Whatever credibility they once had is now to be found only as a footnote in the cesspool of fake science history.

The authors said that is partly because extremely oppressive heat waves would be more of a shock to northern residents' systems. It's a continental climate, relatively unbuffered by large bodies of water.
I have worked in 120 degree heat in Nevada, and -60 cold in North Dakota--and summers in North Dakota usually have a few triple digit days, too.
The author needs to get outside more (if it wouldn't be too much of a shock to their system, that is, don't want any casualties...)

According to climate projections, by the end of the century, Minneapolis will have the temperature of Chicago (1-2C warmer), and we all know about Chicago's killer heat.
This is nothing but another load of ignorant scaremongering from Leftist Control Freak fascists who are hoping they can find somebody who is actually more stupid than they are.
