Of course. It could never be repeated in New York City or Washington D.C. or Houston or Dallas or....

Or perhaps, wise Freepers will not forget the lessons learned after Katrina, nor will they dismiss the possibility of the same atrocities being committed in their own towns, villages or cities.

Sorry, it doesn’t matter if it was one agency or not. Or, if they all agreed on it. It happened, and many of those who had their guns taken, still don’t have them back.

That wasn't even an agency. Many NOPD's quit. Many mercenaries moved in. The attitude of many of the citizens was "Do you think they came all that way NOT to shoot somebody?"
