In the preview on F&F, Wallace said the appearances of Ryan and Goolsbee would be in the form of a debate between the two.

It could get interesting. Ryan seems to be the most knowledgeable person in Washington on budget issues.

Wallace to Goolsbee: Can you name ONE CEO whose job is NOT creating wealth for investors?

Goolsbee: uuuuhhhhh. I agree with the Obama election teams assertion that Bain Capitol is EEEEVVVVVVIIIILLLLL and Romney is the reason.

Ryan: Romney wasn’t even at Bain when the example in question was being closed. Obama is giving money to greenies who are losing money and filing for bankruptcy. Some companies succeed; some companies fail.

From the get go, Sunday FOX "News" pimps Romney and
faux Romney issues arranged ... for FOX's Romney.
The panel today is said to include Tokyo Rove
who has long supported the backstabber Romney
against conservatives.

FOX News makes Romney the candidate when he is not yet.

And all the DNC, GOPe, and RomneyBOTs are in glee.

The News of the Week? Fox begins
as Romney's lawyer defending the criticisms of
Romney as a vulture corporatist.

Romney-PIMP Wallace interviews Goolsbee and
shapes the issue as involving "all CEOs".
Goolsbee correctly suggests that Wallace focus
on what Romney actually did, so RomneyAnchor-wife-in Training
Wallace interrupts him and focuses only on the result.

Goolsbee: "It depends how they did it".

[Millions at that point remember Seamus on the roof].

Wallace then calls on Ryan to be Romney's second lawyer
who willingly obliges. Romney was ONLY at Bain for the
good things, but was away for all bad things.

[Do they really believe conservatives are dumber than rocks?]

Amazing Factoid. Romney-Pimp Wallace
ALMOST TELLS THE TRUTH!!!!!!!

Wallace: Massachusetts was 47th in job creation.
In response, Ryan visibly gulped and began to lie.

[Wake up conservatives. These people should be Democrats
because of the way they ziplessly lie.]

Ryan makes unfounded claims exactly the opposite
of the facts which are here:
THE REAL DEAL: Massachusetts was 48th in
job creation under bad governor Myth Romney.

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

Goolsbee criticizes Romney for not creating jobs as governor, etc.

Ironically, Goolsbee is criticizing Romney’s tenure as governor for doing the same kinds of things to shore up the MA economy then that Obama is trying to do now on the National economy. Goolsbee claims Romney’s methods were failures.

Ryan responds that Romney created 40k jobs during his last year in office. The thing hurting our economy is a debt crisis, due to a failure of leadership.

Wallace brings up the 0-99 Senate vote on Obama’s budget proposal.

Watching Goolsbee try to justify and explain the Obama Admin actions and policies it like watching an earthworm try to wiggle across an electrified metal plate.

If the GOP keeps harping on the economy, they could have a winning issue. But, they have to explain the situation in terms the average voter can understand. Ryan seems very capable of explaining things in understandable terms.

Good Morning All. Just back from a two week job in Springfield, IL. Had a good time and had the oppurtunity to visit many of the Lincoln historical sites. Went to his tomb. He’s still there. One of our greatest Republican buried in a corrupt state owned my the Commurats. Wonder how many of the tourists visiting the sites hava any idea he was a Republican?

At the G8 Summit, Barry used a term that was fairly cryptic: “fiscal consolidation”. WTH does THAT mean? We will all share our budgets, debt, and spending? Sounds like a new spin on an old Communist concept of ‘redistribution of wealth’ but at the ‘global community’ level. When the community-organizer-in-chief sits among a group, he can’t help but to organize them, I guess.

Meet the Press, Durbin vs. Ryan, Gregory asks about Boehner’s comments about spending cuts vs. increasing debt limit.

Durbin was surprised that Boehner reminded voters of what happened last summer. It is not responsible. Promotes Simpson/Bowles commission approach.

Ryan supports Bowles/Simpson approach to closing tax loopholes, but not approach to medicaire costs.

Our DVR was full this AM, so we only caught the first minute of “Face the Nation.” However, that minute had the most astounding bit of opinion from Bob Schieffer: supposedly, the reason that the Nation’s credit rating was cut last year was that Boehner objected to raising the debt limit.
