Sad, but also true for those of us Gentiles that LOVE “meat candy” (bacon).

I’ve learned just recently God’s directive is for all that believe in Him; good advice for our health from above-—for our own good, but Damn! All considered “scavengers” are what I love to eat! Yes. Eating undercooked pork. I don't know if that is the only way, but it's certainly, by far, the main way, the principle way, one becomes infected.

I’m feeling a sudden urge to chug some veterinary de-wormer. Ditto. In reality, all we need to do is make sure pork is cooked thoroughly.

while I cook pork until it is white throughout, it is really no longer necessary. We are now advise that some pink in pork chops, for example, is perfectly O.K.

On skimming I don’t see anything about whether these tapeworms can keep going in pigs alone. If it absolutely needs a human to pig to human cycle, modern sanitation practice in the US (even in the deep country, people don’t abut their outhouses to hog slopping operations) would seem to make it impossible. Now in Mexico, it could be a different story, especially where night soil (human waste) is used to fertilize.
