The federal government Friday called for all baby boomers to be tested for hepatitis C, which kills more Americans each year than AIDS and is the leading reason for liver transplants.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made the recommendation to find hundreds of thousands of people who don't realize that they have the infection, which greatly increases their chances of developing cirrhosis and liver cancer.
The hepatitis C virus is transmitted by blood, usually through intravenous drug use or transfusions. A blood test for it became widely available in 1992. Extremely small amounts of the virus are able to cause infection. Some experts believe that rolled-up dollar bills used to snort cocaine and passed person to person can carry enough infected blood to transmit the virus.
"Many baby boomers may not even remember the behaviors that put them at risk," said John Ward, head of the CDC's viral hepatitis division....

OK, Mrs. RQSR read over my shoulder, and explained to me what you meant by “Lie”.
I understand your point, but mine is why are these forms in existance? Why is there such a push for the information that isn’t necessary for government to function in the first place.
It makes no sense to me that I/we/you should be bothered by government to have lie to them when all they have to do is as directed quite explicitly by the Constitution.

I’d love to see a study seeing if there is a correlation between TATOOS and Hep C. All these young people sticking needles and pigment into their skin.

Also, most routine physicals contain a liver function test. I pay attention to mine because I had mono in college. So far, so good.

Let me warn you now as I have been attempting to warn people since the 'Lancet' article. Government (read Obamacare) healthcare guidelines are going to INSIST that you take whatever cockamamie vaccine they come up with for 'HIV'. Let me say just one thing about HEP C. They have never isolated an intact virus, only fragments which they identify as HEP C (or as they used to refer to the fragments non-A, non-B). Every study in which patients with ‘supposedly’ HEP C were treated (interferon, long-term parenteral steroids etc.) clearly demonstrated that mortality was not affected. In other words, whether you treat or don’t treat you will survive equally. My mother was ‘diagnosed’ with HEP C from a transfusion following invasive surgery in 1972 at the age of 50. Tomorrow she celebrates her 90th Birthday and remains in good health. A word to the wise. The marxists are coming for you. Beware.
