Watching some MMA or UFC fights is a far cry from “MMA training.” Rest assured that if a properly trained mixed martial artist had you pinned on the ground in a full mount, you would have a VERY difficult time getting to any weapon that you might have.
The fact that a street thug tried to emulate what he saw on TV doesn’t make him properly trained.
A gun is not a shield or magic wand. Don’t foolishly think such.
Did you seriously think that I was attempting to make an assertion that having a gun in a pocket is a magic shield whereby no man on earth can do harm to the possessor of the gun?
I assure you I was not saying these things. I merely meant to imply that people who bring guns to fistfights are making a wise choice. But -- I hasten to add -- this is probably not necessarily true in precisely 100% of all cases. Just true in a lot of cases.
