Video That Hits The Nail On The Head

This video ad is from "Catholic Called to Witness". Election Ad.

TOPICS: Culture/Society; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: catholic; election; freedom; gaymarriage
One doesn't have to be Catholic to see the message in this outstanding ad. It is hard hitting and shows Life, Freedom and Marriage (man and woman).

“WOULD YOU PREFER A MUSLIM FOR FOUR MORE YEARS?”

Just curious, but if I were to seek God's guidance in who to vote for, which blasphemer do I choose?

Everyone on here already knows I am Jewish, but I have many members in the Irish Catholic branch of my family. I just shared it with them. This is a powerful video. I don’t have a problem voting for a Mormon, I don’t have a problem voting for a Catholic. I don’t have a problem voting for a Christian. I do have a problem voting for a Muslim and I perceive Obama to be a Muslim in his heart if not in his public words. I’m not voting for Obama no matter what. I am encouraging my Catholic family members to stand with us all against Obama. To be honest, they don’t need that much encouragement. It is ironic to see days when Russia guarantees the safety of Christians and the United States hangs Israel out to dry.

Oh, Wow!

This is very emotional. I must admit that, as a non-Catholic, I was a bit taken aback by the appearance of the forge and the hot iron: made me recall the Inquisition. I also did not like the ending, where the hot metal and the tools are laid down on top of our national flag.

On the good side, I am glad to see some Catholics standing up for their values, which in this case are also mine. It is disturbing to me that so many Catholics do not see the relationship between their beliefs and political life. Do things have to go to the stage of dictatorship before they react?

But maybe I am being too demanding. Most of the general population does not get the point of what is going on. Even the popes in recent years have shown very little understanding of economics, for example.

I was a bit taken aback by the appearance of the forge and the hot iron...

My first thought was of "the refiner's fire".

Blasphemy is the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God or the irreverence towards religious or holy persons or things.

I've not seen nor heard the Morman blaspheme against his god as he perceives him to be. He has never said he was anything but a Morman.

On a televised interview with George Stephanopolus the Moslem said "my moslem faith...Stephanopolus corrected (?) the moslem saying 'your Christian faith, to whitch the moslem replied "my Christian faith".

Has either blasphemed?

Please do seek God's guidance, in this and in everything in your life.
