The short answer is because they think they are smarter than us Rubes out here in TV-land.
They know more, and they know better, and they can't figure out why we the peasants can't understand them.

They know why we peasants can't understand them, it's because we're too stupid. What frustrates them is that we just don't accept that they are so much smarter than us and yield to their superior decisions.
