Mitt Romney says he rejects efforts to use President Barack Obama's former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, in ads attacking the president, insisting the campaign should remain focused on the economy.
"I repudiate the effort by that PAC to promote an ad strategy of the nature they've described," Romney said in an interview with Townhall.com. "I would like to see this campaign focus on the economy, on getting people back to work, on seeing rising incomes and growing prosperityparticularly for those in the middle class of America."

Like usual the GOP is keeping its powder dry until after the election!
Mittack 0bamney getting in touch with his inner McLame.
He repudiates it...but he better be thankful someone is willing to do the dirty work so he can remain above the fray.
Mitt, Obama is a thug, a gangsta, a Black racist, an America hater and destroyer. If you are going to play nice and McCain Obama, get the heck out the POTUS race and remain a forever whimp, just like John McCain!!! Sad and quite dishearting news from Romney, the weakling, frightened by the Obamabots and his “in-the-pocket-media”!!! Mitt, kindly withdraw from the race and let a real American man or woman head the Pubbie ticket. Obama is the reincarnation of the Devil himself!!!
Romney does need to stay above the fray, let us do the dirty work, NOW if those that have info dont get it out because of what Mitt would say then we have problems Houston.
The Reverend Wright thing didn’t work last time and it won’t work this time. Unless Obama said what Wright said on tape the guilt by association won’t fly.
In 2008 Obamas record was imaginary and forward to non ideological voters
This time hes got a governing record of failure and lack of success...that’s where you go after him and you describe plans as to how your vision and goals and what you will implement will actually make vast improvements
I honestly believe Mitt Romney plans on asking John McCain to be his V.P. candidate; if that’s not disturbing enough, imagine the reaction when McBORE says “Yes”. Scary days ahead indeed.
“This issue might have had a chance if it was hit very hard back in 2008. Now, it’s going to sound like a retread. Swing voters vote on the economy.”
Exactly. Its the ECONOMY, ECONOMY and ECONOMY and when you are done with that start on amateur leadership and incompetence.
Voters want hope in the future for a better economy, not a rehash of the 2008 election.

McCain promoting the “goodness” of Obama during the contest still leaves bile in my throat.

RIGHT! He has a record and a bad one. Beat him over the head with it. There are 3 1/2 years worth of video with superfluous promises that will be hard for him to repudiate or defend.
No freakin way he chooses McCain.
What are you smoking?
Here we go again !
It’s because he doesn’t want BO to go after Mormonism. This is why he wasn’t the best candidate.
McCain 2
Not good. Politics is a bloodsport.
The use of Wright is perfectly OK. All’s fair
the current state of politics in this country is PATHETIC. I bet it will be just fine for Obama to attack mittens every which way possible.
