That's a big BRAVO SIERRA!!
When the the rock strata are fractured, there is no way to know with certainty that the aquifer layers will not be violated. Our knowledge and mapping of the subsurface structures is imperfect; with a lot of guesswork involved. Once petroleum seeps into an aquifer, it's gone; forever.
It's just as wrong to fall for industry's lies as it is to parrot the eviro-weenies’ lies!

I'd prefer not to fall for anybody's lies. I'm busy preparing for a trip but if you like, I'll take you on on the groundwater contamination issue when I get back in early June. I have background in geology, especially groundwater issues, and I've done some careful study of how they relate to current fracking projects.
I don't say groundwater contamination is impossible but it's not anywhere near the problem Enviro Cassandras are trying to make it into. It scares the hell out the uninformed, though, and that's what the Enviros want to do.
