SANFORD, Fla. —
WFTV has confirmed that autopsy results show 17-year-old Trayvon Martin had injuries to his knuckles when he died.
The information could support George Zimmerman's claim that Martin beat him up before Zimmerman shot and killed him.
The autopsy results come as Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O’Mara continues to go over other evidence in the case.
O’Mara wouldn't comment on the autopsy evidence, but WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said it's better for the defense than it is for the prosecution.
WFTV has learned that the medical examiner found two injuries on Martin’s body: The fatal gunshot wound and broken skin on his knuckles.
When you compare Trayvon’s non-fatal injury with Zimmerman's bloody head wounds, the autopsy evidence is better for the defense, Sheaffer said.
“It goes along with Zimmerman's story that he acted in self-defense, because he was getting beaten up by Trayvon Martin,” Sheaffer said.
The injury to Martin’s knuckle also fits with Zimmerman's story that before he shot and killed Martin, Martin had broken his nose and knocked him to the ground, slamming his head on the sidewalk.

Maybe the injuries came from dragging them on the ground?
Damn right it’s over, especially if this doc took X-rays, shows them time stamped, and testifies to all that in court. And where does this lead? That GZ will be a very rich man with the lawsuits that could start flying against NBC, MSNBC, The NY Times, Obama, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Spike Lee, Roseanne Barr for defamation. But you know what? I don’t think he will sue. Why? Because he’s too nice a guy. Matter of fact I will bet on it he does not sue. That’s the kind of guy these liberal pukes tried to get killed. A nice guy who used his free time to try to help people unlike these fools who put his and his parents life in danger.
Damned democrats! Shooting trayvon was not enough, he had to damage his knuckles as well.
The way Zimmermans attorney conducted himself at the earlier hearing, I’d say he’s more than competent.

This trial (both trials,actually) will come down to jury selection.Both prosecutors will want an OJ jury...the defense will want a jury with a collective IQ of 100 or higher.

Anything can happen. I think it was F. Lee Bailey who said that he told his clients not to think that the outcome was determined by guilt or innocence. Sad commentary.
Remember the widely quoted undertaker who announced Martin had no injuries. Of course the only area that gets bruised during a beating like that is the knuckle.

The prosecution can play it like OJ's defense team did. Attack the ME, attack the police, attack the police forensic work, lab work, all that. Find out where some x-ray techician used the 'n-word' back in high school.
Only problem is that'll have the county prosecutor attacking other county/municipal employees. I don't see how that can work out as anything but a CF. Then again the whole thing is a massive CF already.
Also, if the local prosecutor screws it up badly enough, maybe Eric Holder will find something else to do with his time. Or maybe Darrell Issa will give him something else to do with his time. Or maybe he'll just run out of time.

Many have opined it is long overdue.
Possibly look at it this way. The combatants on the urban side will be the hate filled ones causing all the trouble. Once they are neutralized, progress with the remaining occupants may be possible, as they are not the ones looking to kill whitey.

Reminds me of the "Beer Summit" incident. Obama mouthed off "the Police acted stupidly" and then all the cries of how racist the cop was. Then the Cops background came out (ehich showed just the opposite) and how neighbors had called the police because they thought the guy trying to get in was a burglar.
Then we had a "Beer Summit" because it blew up in Obama's Face!
Bottom line the "FACTS" got in the way of the Liberal "meme" in both cases.
