Microphones can catch powerful people saying the darnedest things. Especially when theyre turned on and the powerful people dont realize it.
President Obama is the latest victim of this trend. You see, the President recently accepted the Barnard Medal of Distinction the highest honor conferred by Barnard College in New York after giving the schools commencement address. Yet while going to retrieve the medal, Obama got a little too close to the very mic from which he delivered that address, and may have let loose a gaffe that has very quickly gone viral.

He’s a putrid bastard.
Not at all surprising.Nothing but lowlife trash.
I heard he was the new secular saint! and his golden rule is to spread the other cheek :)
He needs more?
I don’t think he said it. He seemed to be in complete control of what he was saying. It wasn’t an exclamation said without thinking. I doubt that he’d say it in that situation.
Imagine that woman getting kissed by foul-mouth Zer0 right after saying the S-word. She didn’t even bat an eye and took her kiss with glee. The Left are Pigs.
“Hes a putrid bastard.”
Or otherwise, if you want to say it in a non-PC way, He’s a PONS.
“His $hit is already packed. (Let’s see ya’ top that!)”
When I lived in Northern Ireland a doctor friend there called them dung punchers. Is he the the punchor or the punchee?
That’s EXACTLY what he thinks about all “Westerners”.
That, too. LOL
It’s hard to tell what he said and I’ve listened to it several times. It might be the s-word, I really don’t know.
I’m afraid I don’t see why this is such a big deal. All the crap this clown has done to our country and you want to bitch about him saying “shit”? You people need to hang around some cops, soldiers, plumbers, construction workers, truck drivers, nurses, etc.
OK, he just went up a notch in my book. He sounds like my dad.
So what do you think he did say? The sentence definitely started with "I gotta get my...". What followed was certainly some word that started with "sh..". Any suggestions as to what it might have been if not the one that's being suggested?
BTW, anyone who uses such language on a regular basis wouldn't necessarily say it with any exclamation. Notice how teenagers (and many adults) use the F-word as a universal adjective without any particular exclamation. It's just part of their everyday vocabulary.
Hes a putrid bastard.
That is an insult to Putrids
All I hear clearly is “I gotta get my...” There might be a hint of a ‘s’, but I don’t hear a ‘sh’, and I’m not even sure of the ‘s’. He might have said ‘stuff’ or some other short word (probably one syllable but possibly two). By the way, what was it he got? Was it the award?
I realize that people don’t just use that word as an exclamation, but politicians aren’t likely to use it in front of a public group except in situations in which they say something quickly and without thinking (because of the kind of criticism that he’s getting here).
As one of the persons commenting previously said, we’ve got plenty to criticize Obama for without this. I wouldn’t mind adding this to the list if I believed he said it (and if the evidence were there), but I don’t.
Is this what he thinks of the honor being bestowed on him? He says this in the face of those awarding him the honor. What a despicable human being.
