if we waste our votes on Nut Goodie we’ll be far better off as “The First Gay President” is unleashed in his second term.

Many of us do not buy the argument that a vote for anyone but Willard is detrimental in the long run to Conservatives. In fact, I personally feel it just the opposite:

I can deal with sending the Gop-e a message, while gridlocking Obamao for another 4 years (or even maybe impeachment), improving or getting majorities in both houses, and having those [R]'s resisting the socialist agenda, and a chance for a true Conservative nominee in 2016. I know things will not get too out of hand to the point of no return (i.e. looking at record firearms and ammo sales) so I cannot be scared into voting for Willard.

VS

having a socialist [R] permanently moving the party left, institutionalizing abortion, homo-marriage, open borders, gun-grabbing, anti-christianity and a nanny state as the norm for both parties, and NO CHANCE for a Conservative nominee in our lifetime. I don't see more than 1 SCOTUS appointment in the next 4 years (Ginsberg) and Obamao has used up his lib allocation, so that is not even a reason for me to vote Willard (who would just nomiate liberals anyhow like he did in MA).

The added bonus of not voting for Willard is that I get to vote my conscience.

Just to follow up on your excellent post, which I think the same about...

Histrionic, fear-driven posters are making this sound like the end of the world. That if each of us does not cast a vote for RINOmney, we are voting for Zero. This is as false as saying that each time we drink a 7up, we are actually drinking a coke. No sale.

In all likelihood, there only three options:

1. Zero wins in a landslide, like in ‘08. If so, your vote won’t count, no matter who you vote for.
2. RINOmney wins in a landslide, in which case, your vote won’t count.
3. It is a dead-heat tie - IN YOUR STATE - and only then will your vote decide your state.

Unfortunately, your vote will likely not decide the national election unless the Electoral count is a tie and you are the final state. My state has 6 million voters. The odds of my vote deciding the election are small, very small. My state likely won’t decide the Electoral College final count.

Sorry, I don’t buy the whole fear driven end times scenario. The problem isn’t Zero. The problem is that he is not opposed in Congress, scorned, sued, etc.

I am focused on electing conservatives in each office that has a conservative in the race.

If you vote for a liberal socialist hack (that will be in for 8 more years) to defeat a socialist liberal hack (that will be in 4 more years) what have you gained by voting (R)?

The question is: How do you make what you, just, posted become what the majority of conservative voters and what the majority of anti-Obama voters end up doing? We can’t be sure to, even, get the majority of FR voters to vote for Virgil Goode, this November!

Right!

And even IF we manage to take control of the Senate (say 52 or 53 to 48 - 47 Demo Rats, I can BLOW your (and your HATE Romney/Mormons fellow delusional Freepers) right out of the water.

Ready?

Do any of these names ring a bell?

John McCain
Lisa Murkowski
Jon Kyl
Charles Grassley
Mitch McConnell
Susan Collins
Lindsey Graham
Orin Hatch
Scott Brown
Thad Cochran

Yeah, with these wuss RINO's there is NODOUBTABOUTIT, "they" will keep Dear Leader in check.....that is when not voting with him or his Demon-Rat stooges in Congress

Why don't you and your fellow ABR Freepers just take a big swig of hemlock now and save yourself the trouble of recriminations later after O'Bummer wins a second term and proceeds on his merry way, issuing EO's, ignoring the Constitution, having his Czars and heads of Agency such as EPA, Interior, etc. thumb their noses at the SCOTUS, and moves full steam ahead "transforming" our Republic (READ: DESTROYS) and stop and ponder how y'all's standing on "Principles" no doubt helped his re-election efforts.

How will you all feel then?

The old Evil Empire had a name for folks like you and the others here who will ignore the facts and foolishly help Dear Leader thru naivete, ignorance or plain ol' stooopidity: They were referred to as "USEFUL IDIOTS!"

What, the same week the President advocates for Gay Marriage, defends his trillion tax hike *AND* launches a defense of socialism and an attack on business ... and you are still pedddling the “life will be fine with Obama” baloney?

Many of us do not buy the argument that America and conservatives can tolerate another Obama term.

as for ...
“ a chance for a true Conservative nominee in 2016. “

Yeah, by which time the Obama socialist agenda will be fully locked in place and the election will be about who’s wallet to rob to pay for the 8 years of Obama’s massive deficits.

if you want to know what that mess looks like, check out Greece.
